Review summary

This was our first cruise back after Covid. It was so nice to be pampered again- not having to make meals was wonderful. Most of staff are new (we were told about 50 % of staff did not return after Covid). So be patient 😉 they are trying really hard. We were really looking forward to going to Roatan again but it's better to be safe from the hurricane that got us diverted (plus our cruise was really smooth sailing and I get motion sick easy so it was nice). This was our first Halloween cruise- lots of fun but could have been better organized.

Embarkation

We have had many smoother and faster embarkation experiences pre-covid. Security was a mess- that's what slowed everything down.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main Dining Dinner- we enjoyed early dinner every night and occasionally late night binging at Windjammer buffet 😋. Our wait staff was wonderful- I requested raisin bread the first night and it was brought every night after without asking. Only disappointment we had was seeing that they really don't enforce the dress code in the dining room. At least don't wear a bathing suit with cutoff shorts on formal night people- have some respect for others that want that one night of glamor.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Anchors Away Parade- love watching their parades. Halloween- We dressed up in costumes and had a great day! We hid glow in the dark small rubber ducks throughout the ship for others to find. I learned the Thriller dance to do a flash mob that night but whoever set up the Halloween festivities did not plan to give us room to dance so that didn't happen (oh well it was fun in the afternoon when they were teaching us). There were some really awesome costumes that people wore!

Entertainment

Studio B- Absolutely loved both of the ice shows! It's cool in there so remember to wear a light sweater and pants.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our cabin steward was awesome- always provided a quick response to our requests and loved his towel art. Our dining room wait staff was great!

Cabin / Stateroom

Lots of closet space, refrigerator, bed was really hard but we brought our own mattress pad- the can provide one but they go fast.

Ship tip

Don't be afraid to ask- ice bucket, a particular type of food or diet issues. They will try if they can. Also- check your invoice before final day so any discrepancies can be cleared up on ship.

Ports of call

Embarkation port

Cozumel, Mexico

3 out of 5
We have been to this port so many times that we usually just do light shopping then enjoy the ship. This port has been ruined by tourists not haggling- everything costs more than at home now.
