Review summary

Beautiful ship and fun experience especially for families and kids. But pack your patience and be prepared to wait in line for nearly everything. If you’re looking for more of a relaxed and laid back environment, I would perhaps go with a smaller ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Buffets were amazing but I wasn’t blown away by the specialty dining restaurants. I wouldn’t purchase the specialty dining package in the future.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Great variety and quality of activities and shows.

Entertainment

Amazing!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The customer service was unmatched, truly. Not one complaint about how we were treated or assisted by the staff. My only negative comment on this is that we were told prior to the cruise that RC staff would be enforcing its rules prohibiting saving pool chairs and this was very clearly not the case. There were rampant issues with chair saving throughout the cruise and it should have been addressed and handled by the staff as we were told it would be. We had to walk around for hours to find a pool chair, waited in line at the pool bars for 45 minutes for a drink, waited in line to return pool towels, waited in line to get food, waited in line to catch an elevator, etc. We spent a good amount of our cruise just waiting in lines.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Always spotless!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Comfort and size was perfect, no complaints. The cabin was not as clean as I expected it to be. It did not appear like it had been vacuumed at all as there were hair balls spread throughout the carpet that were never cleaned.

Ship tip

If you’re looking for peace and quiet you likely won’t find it on this ship. It’s big and beautiful and has lots of activities but it is clearly designed for families and kids, not couples or single cruisers.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
If all of the ports had been at Perfect Day, we would have been VERY happy. Perfect Day was incredible—no lines, great selection of food, great drinks, plenty of activities, and plenty of space so you could find a quiet place to relax on the beach.
