They should book their stateroom early. They should consider upgrading to the Reserve Mini-Suite or above via the auction or via other means. I also recommend they purchase the Princess Plus package.

Don't sail on board this ship to anywhere that isn't warm. If you've never been on a cruise before, you will probably think it's very nice, but it doesn't compare to other, better options.

Get the Premier package, it’s worth it.

never go to a ship if not of small size and not I almost perfect shape

Dress in layers, some areas of the ship are chilly and some are warm.

If you're going to saill with princess, expect them to badger you to upgrade to princess plus. You might want to put that money instead towards specialty dining because nothing was special about any of the free dining venues. I feel like they are punishing people for not upgrading to the Princess Plus. Upgrading would not have been worth it for us. And by the way, the drinks were terrible. If we would have paid for plus, we would have really been really unhappy. Princess is owned by Carnival, and they are really struggling. We booked the cruise and had things changed on us, such as available free dining venues. I understand the company trying to cut corners and save money. How they handled the changes, though, and not honoring what I was initially offered. This was not right. The changes occurred one month before my cruise, a cruise I had booked a year ago. We only found out about these changes because we were constantly watching videos to prepare ourselves. Princess misrepresented what I was getting. I don't appreciate them pulling me in, then changing things out from under me. This was our 30th Anniversary Cruise. We are not spoiled brats. We just wanted what was offered initially. What piece of advice would I give? This is a struggling company, buyer beware!

We got the enclave pass for $150 for 7 days and we loved it. It was a nice way to relax before bed

Look around for other ships going to the same places that stay in port longer

Take advantage of all the shows and classes. They are great

The website for the ship is wrong, listing a nightclub and a restaurant that dont exist. That's a big deal if ship accomodations are important to you. They also introduced new fees two weeks before our sail date. That's not right

Arrive early as embarkation process was so seamless and we were able to maximize our stay by added a few hours to our trip.

Wear a mask in the congested areas. i.e. elevators, tour busses, etc.

Enjoy!

Do everything early - book the cruise, embark, get to the theatre, quiz venue or buffet - you will never be first regardless of how early you do this.

Book Alaska excursions early. Familiarize yourself with disembarkation in Seattle. Especially how your luggage gets taken off the ship and where you go to pick it up in the terminal. The cruise line and the port of Seattle both offer options but the overlap in what each process means can be confusing. Assume you have to get your luggage at the terminal even if you made arrangements for them to take it to

Join in on the dancing in the piazza. A lot of fun!

If you are going on this Itinerary, don't have a Balcony at the front of the Ship.
