Don’t eat at Sabatini’s

If you like the pools don't stay in the back of the boat all the pools are forward so you have a choice be close to the buffet or be close to the pool but you can't have both the adult pool is in the front of the boat and the regular pools are in the middle

Explore early, it's a BIG ship

Have patience...a ship this size doesn’t always sail with nice ppl. There will be a few ppl that should have booked a dingy!!!

Loved the evening sail!

Get ready to come back “alive”! The Royal is a marvelous ship and the crew are simply amazing. Our tip, let yourself go and explore.

Relax and enjoy.

Beautiful ship! Select a middle cabin if you can.

Don’t. Their entertainment is not geared to be enjoyable for a broad age group. Tough to find fun things to do on sea days

We've done 8 cruises and this is a whole different League to all other cruises we taken

Bring a pool noodle. The Retreat Pool is 5 ft to 7 ft in depth causing you to tread water or hang onto side. I luckily had a pool noodle and just floated around easily in that.

Wi-Fi if the best of any cruise weve been on. their Ocean Compass app is nice but chat function is horrible because no ring to let u know when someone has written. Use WhatsApp. We did 4 device for 7 days for $104 so very reasonably priced.

Take the time to walk the ship to know what would be interest to you.

Be sure to bring an extension cord and power strip so you have more outlets to use in your cabin.

No full Deck 7, that goes around the ship
euromaus
Use the ship'S restrooms before dis-embarking the ship as there are only porta-potties available once you leave the ship...pretty gross! Wish they had given a heads-up during the disembarkation brief!

Get to shows early if you want a seat
