Review summary

This was our Pre-Winter Get-Away Cruise. We take a cruise right before the winter starts and this one was a prize. We’ve been to various parts of Mexico over the years but this was our first to the Riviera Peninsula...simply a superb cruise and Princess was a joy to sail to this area. We’ve fallen in love with this part of Mexico.

I expected chaos at San Pedro but it was smooth and relatively quick

The wait staff in every area were warm and accommodating to all of our requests. They all showed an interest in you and desire to serve.

Ship Quality

The Royal is a great ship with a magnificent layout.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
This was a wheelchair accessible room; not because we needed, it was assigned by Princess in the “Reduced Prince—Late Assignment Offer”. The room was quite large and very well accommodating with all of the special amenities.

Ship tip

Get ready to come back “alive”! The Royal is a marvelous ship and the crew are simply amazing. Our tip, let yourself go and explore.
