We made all of our reservations before we left on the cruise which left us more time to enjoy the ships activities rather than waiting on line to go to dinner or shows. The major problem we had was with the website for making these reservations - we had to call Royal Caribbean several times.

Head to the Solarium - it's beautiful, quiet, and feels like a tropical oasis. Also - sign up for iFly and other special amenities as soon as you get on the ship!

When arriving at dock in Bayonne find one of the greeters with I pads and stick to your arrival time. Check in can be a breeze if done correctly.

Make reservations for dining and entertainment well in advance (at least 3 weeks). Avoid Deck 6 balconies. Royal Theater is lovely, but there are poles in rear and many seats in the side part of the balcony have obstructed views, so arrive early (at least 15 minutes) to avoid those seats.

The high speed internet was great. I am a college professor and need to be online each day. We were very fortunate that the captain gave everyone free internet access during the entire cruise.

The Two70 (this is the correct spelling) restaurant is a gem, not to be missed if you like good sandwiches and salads. The entertainment is fun but limited.

The inside cabins with the video balconies are great. Rooms really well laid out and thought about. One of the best we have had.

if you see in the compass the time for bumper cars arrive earlier than that time or the line is usually wrapped around. same with the flowrider. give the bionic bar a try its a fun different experience! sometimes there is a wait but if u go during a show or dinners there should not be any real wait time.

Prepare for your exit bill to be large due to the upcharges required (drinks from Robot Bartenders are extra, as is Sushi, and Johnny Rockets). Internet is not free as they claim in their documents (costs up to $300 for the week). Solarium is wonderful and peaceful in the am and after dark.

Make sure you get all of your reservations for dining and shows done early. Wait a day or two than go back into the computer system and double check to make sure it all went in right.
