Beautiful ship, elegant and casual at the same time, courteous staff, heavenly food everywhere, all the time. Staff vigorously cleaning ship at all times

The ship was decent. Nicer than other boats I have been on. However the crew was absolutely miserable. Would not cater to hardly any need. When asked they simply laughed and played it off as a joke. It was highly disapointing.

Our overall impression is that we will likely not sail NCL again. The ship, staff, food, stateroom did not meet our expectations. We almost entirely missed a port and came home with Norovirus. We were not impressed with NCL. We were uninformed throughout the trip and due to illnesses alot of the fun stuff on the ship was cancelled.

Do not go on this cruise if you are a vegetarian, or want to eat after 12pm. "Freestyle cruising", their slogan, is a blatant lie. You can only eat food at very specific times, only one tiny restaurant is open 24hrs with an extremely limited menu that never changes and has NO vegetarian choices at all. The disease outbreak was tremendous, people were quarantined. Everyone had a stomach flu. Tap water and unsweetened iced tea are the only beverages included, bottled water is $5. Most alcoholic drinks were around $9. Very little entertainment, I have cruised before and had a much better time on other ships. This ship was very boring, and no one was out past 10pm, this could be because of extreme boredom or violent illness. An extreme disappointment, this cruise line just cannot compare to any others.

I have been on many cruise lines before and this ship was by far the worse.

OK-nothing special

I feel sure this will not reach your customers as I would not recommend this Line to anyone, the ship dining room service was atrocious, it didn't matter if you had bacon or eggs everything tasted the same-bland. Our steward was good and that was the only thing I had to say good about the whole experience. We missed going to Guatamala, they called the night before we were to leave and never did call my son to cancel that part of the trip. They said it was engine trouble, I think they wanted us to stay on board and spend money. For a trip that cost approx. $8,000 for 4 people it certainly was not worth it..

We really wanted a Christmas on the sea and that is why we chose to cruise at that time. The service was excellent but the food was average. We actually liked Carnivals food better. Dean was the ships shopping consultant and he was excellent!!! He was very informative and he was alaways available. The beds were extremely uncomfortable!!! Carnival's beds were a lot more comfortable. The one thing that really disappointed me was that the canceled the Guatamala port and they only reimbursed us $100. Overall with the amount of money we paid I wish we would have chosen a different vacation but we still had a nice time.

The ship was beautiful. It was the staff that was unpleasant. At first I thought this would be a wonderful cruise and it started out nicely until for no explained reason the paying customers were no longer able to serve themselves at the buffet, thus creating a long line due to there only being one server to serve everyone. Apparently there was a virus on some other ship and no announcement was made to explain to all of the guests why all of the sudden they were not allowed to even pour themselves a glass of water! When there was a fire in the engine rooms and the ship started shaking they were very speedy in explaining to everyone what it was and when it got under control. They should have explained about the virus as well!

The only thing freestyle was the diining. all other activities were at a specific time and place. Not always at the most logical times either.

The ship is beautiful. The food service personnel leave alot ( and I mean alot) to be desired. The live entertainment is superb and there's plenty of it. The beverage personnel are pesky and persistent. But that may be a management deficiency ( managers may be the ones telling them to be persistent).

I thought it was very clean and tastefully decorated. Staff in the dining room seem to be polite but not as attentive as on other cruises. Finally met the cabin person towards the end of the trip. Cabin was always neat and clean, again just not as attentive as on past cruises.

It's a lovely ship and it was a very interesting itinerary. Cabins are a little on the small size, but very comfortable. Cabin stewards were great. The downside to Freestyle Dining is that you don't get to know your wait staff well.

The ship was great, it was very clean and the dinning(excluding the buffet) was great.

This was our first cruise ( freestyle). however, we have sailed before with another line. the food was fantastic and service was great! like family reunion. came home well rested and looking forward to our next excurison!

Most shows were very good. Plenty of food.

This is one of the best vacations I have ever had. From the time you walked on board until the time you left your every need was met. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The ship was very clean. The shows were well done and very professional. I will definitely cruise again.

We found that we do not care for this method of travel due to its confinement. We do not gamble nor did we participate in the ships activities except for the shows. I enjoy dancing but my husband does not.

The staff on board the Spirit were courteous and friendly at all times. We were not hurried at any of the dining locations.
