Review summary

The ship is beautiful. The food service personnel leave alot ( and I mean alot) to be desired. The live entertainment is superb and there's plenty of it. The beverage personnel are pesky and persistent. But that may be a management deficiency ( managers may be the ones telling them to be persistent).

Shopping was easy and care free. lots of merchants. but beware, hangling is a must. Nice entertainment. Fruit smoothies are MMMMM good ($2). The jade jewelry is a must to buy but avoid the expensive crap. Little or no liqour for sale.

I have been there many times before and continue to go with the hopes that the most important thing would change and it has not! The island people act as if we are there to be taken advantage of. They leer at the woman. make indirect rude comments in spanish ( I speak Spanish so I know what they are saying). They act like your friends only if they are taking money from you. Not all beaches are nice. look carefully. Snorkling and scuba activities are good but again be careful in selecting who and were you go.

The shopping was excellent. The people were nice and not pushy at all. However, a few rogue males could have enticed the unsuspecting and those making inquiries, on an excorted trip to purchase narcotics. The beer was reasonabley priced and you must try the meat pies. ($2) Island liquor was hard to find.

The weather was perfect, about 88. Lots of everything. Good place to buy liquor
