Review summary

The ship was decent. Nicer than other boats I have been on. However the crew was absolutely miserable. Would not cater to hardly any need. When asked they simply laughed and played it off as a joke. It was highly disapointing.

All of our excursions were cancelled here because one of the boats engines was not working properly. The cruise line decided to tell us this 3 or 4 days before the cruise left which is inside the week notice you have to give to get any of your money back. They offered a full refund once they told us about it, but anyone that wanted to cancel had already done so. This ensured the minimal ammount of people cancelling their cruises at the last minute since they told us so late.

We went on a kayaking tour through a jungle. Pretty fun. Ended back at a decent resort that charged too much for everything.

Went deep sea fishing and didnt catch anything. Senor frogs is always a blast.

Went on a canopy tour and cave tubing. I would not recommend the combination again. They were both very short excursions since you had to fit both in, but they were decently fun. The shopping in the flea market here is always great.

Pros: 24/7 food IF i stress IF the crew decided they would like to serve you

Cons: The disrespect and negligence portrayed by the crew. Most seemed to be on their own agenda and the customers were always 2nd to that agenda.

Recommends Norwegian Spirit? No.
