Review summary

Our overall impression is that we will likely not sail NCL again. The ship, staff, food, stateroom did not meet our expectations. We almost entirely missed a port and came home with Norovirus. We were not impressed with NCL. We were uninformed throughout the trip and due to illnesses alot of the fun stuff on the ship was cancelled.

Food and Dining

The food was below average in the buffet, and bland in the main dining rooms. The specialty restaurants were very good, but you had to pay extra to eat at them.

Entertainment

The bands were pretty good. The games were corny, but fun. The casino was ok.

Service and Staff

The staff was fairly friendly, but no one really went out of their way for us. Our stewards were nice enough, but we did not get any of the special treatment that we had heard about from previous cruisers.

The ship was nice, but the layout was confusing at times.

Cabin / Stateroom

The stateroom was dingy. We walked in and one of the first things we found were a used Q-tip in the bathroom and another person's pants in the closet. There was mold in the shower and the bathroom floor did not appear clean. The balcony was nice- if we could have slept there, we probably would have.
