Review summary

Do not go on this cruise if you are a vegetarian, or want to eat after 12pm. "Freestyle cruising", their slogan, is a blatant lie. You can only eat food at very specific times, only one tiny restaurant is open 24hrs with an extremely limited menu that never changes and has NO vegetarian choices at all. The disease outbreak was tremendous, people were quarantined. Everyone had a stomach flu. Tap water and unsweetened iced tea are the only beverages included, bottled water is $5. Most alcoholic drinks were around $9. Very little entertainment, I have cruised before and had a much better time on other ships. This ship was very boring, and no one was out past 10pm, this could be because of extreme boredom or violent illness. An extreme disappointment, this cruise line just cannot compare to any others.

All food was tasteless. Very little variation. The two free restaurants, (where you are served as opposed to buffet style) both had the same menu each night, which was a variation of the buffet food. Vegetarian options were limited to fruit.

Beautiful place, but the "las escobas waterfall" excursion is not really a waterfall like you would think, more of a tiny amount of water trickling down a rock. Not worth the money.

Didn't spend any time here because I went on the tulum excursion (mayan ruins), where you can only look at the ruins which are roped off, again, not worth the $100

Carnival stops at a much better port for shopping, I went on the cave tubing excursion, which was decent.
