This was our third Alaska cruise; we’ve also cruised on the Jewel and we were on the maiden Alaska cruise of the Bliss. This cruise was fabulous and it was fun to compare the Joy to the Bliss!

We all enjoyed ourselves. If I do this again I would make it a north or southbound cruise instead of a round trip to have more time at each port. Overall I thought The Joy was a great ship

Haven restaurant closure significant negative. Wife in wheelchair, and booked this suite mainly for convenience of restaurant across the hall. Instead, long waits on overcrowded elevators for every meal. Entire Haven area had varnish smell and lots of noise during first two days of maintaining work.

Ship was great! Disappointed with Icy Strait. Get off ship and enjoy, waterfront, good music and food.Do not go into town- nothing there. A waste of $5.00. Do not see tribal show. Promised 45 minute show, maybe 20 minutes. Three person show. Highlights- Great shopping and exploring in Ketchikan . Don’t forget map at visitor center. Best prices Sockeye Sam who will hold purchases while you shop other stores. Lots of salmon spawning. Juneau -shopped and went to Mendenhall Glacier. $45 dollar bus ride to glacier. Victoria-whale watching with Orca Spirit Adventures. Zodiac Boat, ( fast boat, riding the waves) we seen sea lions and whales. Great video, got a fin!! It was great. $194.00 US dollars for two. Make sure to bring credit card with no Foreign transaction fees. Great job NCL.

Loved every moment on this cruise and all aspects of it. Hassle free and amazing accommodations. Loved seeing all the wildlife right from my balcony. Can't wait to do another cruise!

It was a fun cruise. We did many on board activities. We didn't have enough time to enjoy more. I would recommend to book an earlier show if you are not a night person. Good luck and enjoy your cruise.

The cruise was awesome in every way. We definitely came away with the feeling that it would take many more Alaska cruises to really get the experience right. There is so much to see in this beautiful territory

Norwegian joy is a wonderful ship as for Alask Norwegian joy is a wonderful ship.I live in the Miami area Florida and I thought prices were out of line there until I got to Alaska

This is a ship with lots of options for all ages. We found the staff to be very acomodating and the ship, being so new, is in tip top shape. We had a very enjoyable week, and look forward to sailing on the Norwegian Joy again.

I have sailed Carnival and Royal; and they pale to Norwegian. This ship is clean and stylish, to staff is over accommodating and the ships plans are exciting!

This was a “bucket list” trip and it exceeded our expectations!

In retrospect, I would have paid more attention to the itinerary before booking. All Alaska cruises are not the same. Maximize your Alaska stops. The Joy was nice ship, very children friendly.

Our trip was amazing. The ship was great, the views were breathtaking, and the experiences were like no other. The service provided by staff was excellent. I can’t wait to go back someday and to take my kids when they are much older.

The Joy is beautiful. Alaska is amazing. I liked Ketchikan the best. The cafe is open a little less then before. Teppanyaki was outstanding. Sugarcane Mojito Bar was awesome. Splurge on a balcony, you won’t regret it.

This cruise is all about Alaska and was amazing. Alaska gets a 5, Norwegian gets a 2. Look hard for another line unless you like crows and less than average food!

Beautiful ship. Great crew and staff. Wonderful ports. Weather was perfect -- Alaska in July! What more could you want? BTW, the last week of July was perfect.
