I have sailed Carnival and Royal; and they pale to Norwegian. This ship is clean and stylish, to staff is over accommodating and the ships plans are exciting!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Embarkation was fast and simple
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
I have a very specialized diet and every restaurant and dining room we tried, went out of their way to make me Happy. All of the MaitreD's bent over backwards, I was so very grateful. Buffet was good, lots of choices, I was only there for breakfast but the same menu on each block. My son enjoyed the Asian cuisine in the buffet.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We played trivia, Deal or No Deal, Bingo, and of course the Casino. We also did the Country game.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Shows were very good. Elements was well choreographed and the dancers and entertainers were pro. The magician left a bit to be desired, but iin general the show was pretty amazing.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Everyone very accommodation and personable and professional.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Clean ship toilets well maintained, no smell by the end of the trip. Our room was made up at least three times a day.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
For a balcony/mini suite extra space in the bath was nice, but we had difficulty getting past one another with three adults in a four berth. Our son wanted his bed avail at all times so that made things more difficult.
Ship tip
Alaska go early in the year. We just missed the Norther Lights and had much fog people were made to cxl their air excursions, and we missed out on a glacier view.
We used a private charter for fishing, have about 30# of Halibut and cod fish coming this weekend! Limit for Halibut was 1 per person, but they are quite large. The town itself is very quaint. No directions to shops, we missed the town crab shack since it was on our bus ride back to the port. Husband and I both feel they would benefit from a Tourism specialist in the city.
