Review summary
This cruise is all about Alaska and was amazing. Alaska gets a 5, Norwegian gets a 2. Look hard for another line unless you like crows and less than average food!Embarkation

Food and Dining
Cagney's Steakhouse
We had to eat at 9 pm to get reservations. I had prime rib that was slightly dry and fatty. The sautéed mushrooms were tasty but room temperature. A glass of wine was $24 and not special. My husband had salmon which he liked, but his mushrooms were also cold.
The Local Bar & Grill
The food was average except for barbecue night. It was not edible. The lamb chop was gray, the beef was very tough and I didn’t even taste the other meat item! One waitress was RUDE (rolled her eyes at me) to me and another cruiser as well! The menu is limited.

Ship tip
Avoid it. Too large and overcrowded! The staff is not uniformly polite and the food was not even acceptable!
