All in all it was a great experience. I recommend if you can go to Alaska, you should!

NCL ships are always well maintained and the crews are always fantastic. The Jewel is a small ship and they have had the misfortune of having to put a lot of venues in a small space, which makes the ship layout a little clumsy. Other than than, a great trip.

A nice and relaxing cruise to just chill. Port visits were at times rush but always worth to just take a walk around.

We did not like the early, very short stops in some of the ports

Was warned about a forward penthouse, on a late season Alaskan cruise... believe it.

Overall, the cruise was excellent, good food, excellent crew, a few minor hassles, basically no waiting for elevators like you find on the larger ships

You should reevaluate this ship and especially the security who seem to be bloated with power We had a lovely day with an excursion that canoed us and hiked us to a private land and a glacier that had beautiful rocks and shells with education as we searched for souvenir unusual rock to take home. On arrival the security staff removed the two rocks were ruse and wouldn’t explain why they confiscated the rocks except to say they weren’t sterile. Some people should not be given power, they are dangerous especially if they have low IQ’s

We won't be cruising NCL again unless it's the only option for a destination in which we are interested. My husband and I played cards in our room when we weren't spending time disappointed with the food or entertainment/activities. Overall just disappointed in the cruise line.

It is a great cruise and I prefer this to a round trip. Most of the round trips do not cover Hubbard Glacier and it is a must to see. You either cruise North to South or the other way so that you see the best of them all will be my suggestion

I loved this trip and would do it again! I'd prefer to go on Royal Caribbean or try another line.

the cruise was excellent . specialty restaurants were super. if going to any ports make sure to do an excursion at each point.

Cruise was nice but we will never book through again. 1-They did not save the first cruise we wanted and we lost that cruise. 2-I was going to pick a room on deck 8 or 9 and the travel agent talked me out of it and told me to do a guaranteed room instead. She told me it would save money and we would be guaranteed a room on deck 8 or 9. This was false information and we were given a room on deck 4 and could not change it.3-I specifically asked how far away the airport was from Seward where the cruise ended, before I booked it. She told me 10 minutes away. This was also false information as the airport was a very expensive 3.5hr-4 train and taxi ride away in Anchorage, an extra expense I was not prepared for. 4-We were told we qualified for the free welcome aboard package, consisting of wine, chocolate covered strawberries and a12 pack of water. Even after asking guest services in the ship, we never received this booking bonus that she told us we were getting. BJ's travel really let us down and we will not book from them again.... Fingers crossed that we will receive the gift card they said we would get

great relaxing cruise through the last frontier for the US, got to see bears, moose, whales, both Orca and humpback along with beautiful mountains and water scenes

We liked cruising and learned a lot about this form of traveling through this experience. We will likely choose another cruise line next time. I wish they had fixed our room the first time we complained. That would have improved our overall experience.

Last minute deal. Great Value with NCL . Once in a lifetime cruise that really only needs to be done once.

Totally disappointed with the experience and have zero plans to cruise with Norwegian again. Excursion desk was rude and unapologetic of our excursion experiences. As a Latitudes Member and Norwegian Credit Card Holder, we are not happy.

Getting on the ship was an ordeal. We requested 1pm. Person in front of us requested 1130am. We had gotten to the pier around 1215pm. Standing in line while carrying 15lb of luggage, no place to sit, hard on the back. It took us 2 hours to get checked in. This was my 13th cruise. Never has it taken so long. I don't know if I will cruise again because of that.

Overall loved Alaska but hated the Jewel. And all the 50+ people I talked to on the cruise felt similarly. Now that I'm still horribly sick from whatever virus from the cruise, despite masking properly and traveling solo to avoid people, I definitely won't be going back to Norwegian again.

Norwegian did a great job of working with our airline to get our main luggage onboard after the airline lost it. Appreciated the great attitude of the entire staff. Only criticism is the constant attempts to get you spending more money (could not enjoy the awesome Spinnaker Lounge due to the constant sales pitches booked in the room).

This was our first cruise, we had a great time at the ports but wish we were made to feel welcome on board which sometimes we were not. We felt overlooked by passengers who'd been on since Tokyo.
