Review summary

It is a great cruise and I prefer this to a round trip. Most of the round trips do not cover Hubbard Glacier and it is a must to see. You either cruise North to South or the other way so that you see the best of them all will be my suggestion

Embarkation

5 out of 5
No issues at all as we were in the Haven and were walked in

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We need more vegetarian choices and that's why this is a 4 star

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We did not go to many as we were focused on excursions

Entertainment

Fantastic

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Fantastic

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very well maintained

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The cabin was smaller than we expected - we had a larger cabin the last time in a different ship (Star), but the service and quality was very good

Ship tip

We were in the haven, but I am not sure it is worth the cost if you are not utilizing all the benefits.

Ports of call

Seward (Anchorage), Alaska

Not much to do

Cruise Hubbard Glacier

5 out of 5
Amazing - please take the Excursion to go near the Glacier. The ship is parked way too far

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

Cruise Inside Passage, Alaska

I love the north/south bound cruises. Did one on the Sun a few years back and since it was a smaller ship we were able to get a little closer to Hubbard than the larger ones. Hoonah is one of my favorite ports, but others may disagree. Got 3 things off my Alaska bucket list in one stop.
