We liked cruising and learned a lot about this form of traveling through this experience. We will likely choose another cruise line next time. I wish they had fixed our room the first time we complained. That would have improved our overall experience.

The food was plentiful and mostly good. Drinks were expensive if you didn't buy a special package. There were plentiful choices.

We used the fitness center and the library. Both were accessible and had the equipment we wanted. The hot tubs were crowded. The Casino was smoky.

There was a lot of variety in music and performances. Some musicians were good; others were not. The stage shows were entertaining.

We had problems with our stateroom. It took several days to address because it seemed as though no one knew what to do. We moved rooms one night so we could sleep. Finally someone called an engineer who was able to fix the problem.

The size and comfort was ok. Something went awry in the level below our cabin which caused loud banging and noises. it took 3 days to address the issue.
Ship tip
Choose a cabin mid-ship or front and with a balcony. Buy a beverage package before boarding.
We visited the capital and enjoyed seeing downtown. Whale watching was great fun! Shopping was crowded and expensive. We chose to eat on board rather than fight the crowds in Juneau.
