Review summary

Overall, the cruise was excellent, good food, excellent crew, a few minor hassles, basically no waiting for elevators like you find on the larger ships

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Had to be bussed from Anchorage to Seward, beautiful ride. No lines to get onboard, very easy

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Ate at 4 of the specialty restaurants, Cagney's is great, Le Bistro, Moderno and La Cuchina were also excellent. New one on board was Chin-chin, Asian food, not recommended. Portions are tine and the food came out cold.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Did not participate in any of these activities

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Very professional as always, a little lack of variety for this cruise

Children's Programs

no kids

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
overall I would rate the crew as excellent, this is a smaller ship, lot mor personable

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
very clean ship

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Small, only negative was that there was no place to store empty luggage, had to crawl around suitcases during the entire cruise. Interior lighting in the cabin was dim at best, they need bulbs with a few more watts

Ports of call

Seward (Anchorage), Alaska

Cruise Hubbard Glacier

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

3 out of 5
There is basically very little to do on shore here

Juneau, Alaska

Skagway, Alaska

Ketchikan, Alaska

Ward Cove is a hassle. If you don't have an excursion planned, it will take you a good hour to get into the town and another hour to get back to the ship. This was with 2300 passengers, it is more brutal when you get there on a larger ship. Highly recommend Deadlies Catch excursion

Cruise Inside Passage, Alaska

5 out of 5

Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia

5 out of 5

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Easiest I have ever encountered, we had a transfer to the airport, carried our own luggage off the ship, very easy
