On embarkation day, go to Savor or Taste and have pleasant sit-down lunch. We had fried calamari and shrimp burgers--yummy. Book a cabin on deck 5 or 6 to avoid late night noise.

We liked free style dinning to eat when we wanted to, and with whomever. The cafeteria was easy to use ,good The special restaurants, that you had to pay extra for, were wasted spaces. They could have made the atrium seating & lounges bigger instead. Very clean ship. Best for under 50

The Garden Cafe has some great options for all the meals. O'Sheehans has terrible service, and the food is average at best, but the atmosphere is lively and entertaining. Flamingo Grill is pretty good food, but if you are watching your weight, avoid it like the plague. The Shanghai Noodle is good.

Unless you have kids stay off the Deck 12 as this is where the Kids Center is located. Ship is so large I would recommend booking a cabin in the center of the ship. We we located near the front and did tons of walking as it lots of stuff is located aft. Get outside early as few umbrellas.

Enjoy eating at the general dining locations - food is good and you don't have to add to your cruise expense by booking a specialty dining unless you choose to do so.

Eat breakfast in the Garden Grill on deck 15, not in the main dining rooms. Make your entertainment reservations in advance.

Have crepes at night -- they're supposed to stop making them at 9:30 p.m. but they often go 'till 10 p.m. Delicious!

Did not venture on this ship with children nor did we partake in an onboard activities. No excursions taken as we wanted this trip to be relaxing on our terms.

If you want something extra...just ask. Traveled with my sister/brother-in-law s and they like the tempurpedic pillows...their room steward was more than accommodating in getting them whatever they needed as well. If you don't like something tell them... they will make it right.
