The food is over all very good, with the exception of Orchid Garden. Orchid Garden is not good. Moderno is excellent, Teppenyaki is lots of fun, Le Bistro was very good, and Cagney's was hit or miss (one excellent steak and one dissapointing).

Our cabin was not very clean. Our room steward was not the best. The rest of the staff was excellent! Friendly, cheerful, attentive cruise staff!

Our window needs to be replaced! If the cruise hadn't been sold out, we would have asked for another cabin. The layout of the cabin was great, lots of cubbies to stash your stuff! Our cabin wasn't very clean when we boarded and the bathroom needed to be steam cleaned! It smelled!
The port is pretty basic and remote. However, the country is beautiful! You should take a tour here. We arranged for a tour with Thumbs Up tours in advance and so glad we did!
We didn't take a tour. We choose to look around the port area and we are so glad we did. We took a pedi-taxi tour of the town. Bring lots of $1 bills! These people are working so hard to win our buisness.

We took a right out of the port and walked to a beach! Skip the first beach and cross the bridge, the 2nd beach is better for swimming. The last tender was at 1:00 pm, Sure wish we had more time!
Not much to see unless you travel away from the port. The Iowa battleship is within walking distance. You dock at San Pedro very early and not much is open. We walked around and noticed lots of Thrift Stores. We had lunch at the Green Onion Mexican restaurant. WOW! Excellent! The portions are huge and the prices and good!
NOT ENOUGH TIME!!! I love this place! Just walk around and enjoy the city! We walked to the top of the Courthouse and had a beautiful view! We walked to 2 diffenent wineries for tastings. I would love to go back to Santa Barbara and spend a weekend!
We booked airport transfer thru NCL. We were very disappointed. We waited in line for 2 hours outside for the bus. We had to collect our luggage and carry it to the parking lot where we waited in line. There were elderly people with walkers and their luggage waiting in line! NCL knew how many people booked this transfer in advance! Hundreds of people and 2 buses!
