I can no longer recommend NCL. I've had better experiences on Royal Caribbean, Princess, and even Carnival.

You may book shows and dining at 90 days out, 100 in a suite. Specialty "reservations" are hard to come by. Note I said "reservations". However, if you can't get one, just try walking up to the podium. We did one night and our party of 7 was seated immediately.

Lots of people on board. They do a pretty good job of spreading the crowd, but be aware it can get really crowded at times.

The only negative we had was repeated glitches with our bill regarding the ultimate dining and beverage packages. We kept getting charged for things that we've shouldn't have to pay for. But I think this was just beginning night jitters since it was their first cruise.

I had a difficult time ordering a package of 6 bottles of water. I was told that I could order them to be delivered from any bar, but that wasn't true. I had to go to the atrium coffee bar to do this and then later found that there was a less expensive alternative offered through the juice bar.

Do not expect the quality of the Getaway. Check to be sure they are not catering to a large group on your cruise because regular guests take a back seat.

if you like to walk or job, forget it, the jogging track is smack dab in the middle of a high traffic area ( Jimmy Buffets and a bar )

Would probably drop down to 14th floor next time. 15th floor is right under high traffic areas.

The new District was great. They offer beers on tap, live music with comfy seats with ocean window views. Also, during football season, they show the games on the large screen.

Very expensive. A glass of wine cost approximately $8.00 per glass. They charge a corkage fee if you bring a bottle of wine on board for consumption in your cabin.

Too many people with way too little staff. This is by far the worse cruise I have been on. You cannot have 4700 guests with 1700 staff. Food was awful.
