If you want to go to a beach, be sure to bring cash. No need to bring a blow dryer, one is provided in the room. And if you decided that you are hungry at 3am, the Blue Lagoon is always open. However if you have a serious appetite, don’t order the chicken tenders, you only get two strips.

Interior rooms are the way to go if you're looking for fun on a budget, seeing as though not much time is actually spent in the room...plenty of room for 2 people...room service was great for late night munchies and breakfasts!

I do like the smaller ships with less passengers. First cruise was on the Majesty. We got to know our waiters and waitresses on a more personal level. Preferred the dining rooms and the pool more. I also preferred to dock in St. George's much more than the dockyard. Could walk to Tobacco Bay.

Tips included in review. One other here: We got ear patch on Amazon and they worked like a charm (I think). None of us were remotely sea sick.

STAY AWAY..... FAR, FAR AWAY !!! The ship is old, service is horrible, food is terrible!!! What I did like about the Dawn is the fact that we did not have to fly since we live in Rhode Island. As far as the destination, I love Bermuda and would definitely go back. Try Celebrity out of Boston!!!

Use one of the outside elevators (forward, aft) if you can. The mid-ship elevator tends to be the busiest. Get an entertainment card (free). Every event you participate in (i.e. trivia) earns you points for free gifts. We got some coffee mugs!

I have taken this ship several times now .. this time I could tell it was not full... the staff at the Bimini bar are great...the Aqua dining room likewise...I sensed people were tiring of the Garden Cafe buffet.

The ship size was just right. There was always a place to set. We didn't have to wait to be seated in the dinningroom. All-in-all it was a very nice ship.

Ship size of about 2,000 is good size--better than 4,000. NCL staff accommodate customers better without being overwhelmed by too many passengers.

Make your dinner reservations online as soon as you book your trip! It is a good idea to back your reservations 3 hours before the shows you want to attend as the service is extremely slow.

Definitely bring your own water bottles on the ship to refill. Prices are ridiculous for the water packages. WHATEVER YOU DO !!!! DO NOT RENT SCOOTERS!!!! THEY ARE DEATH MOBILES!!!!

Shows are at 7 & 9pm and last about an hour. Consider this when making dinner reservations . Make dinner reservations for every night asap way before cruise date.Choose shower not deluxe tub. Take a glass of water with you back to your cabin after each meal to save $6.50/ bottlewater. cagney 's#1!
