My wife & I were looking forward to this Holland America cruise for months. Unfortunately the cruise did not live up to Holland America's reputation.

Typical cruise looking for your dollars. Not enough space and chairs in the shade. DJ noise constant at pool areas. Food good but too much emphasis on casino, games and photos.

Smaller ship is what we were looking for but the amenities, stewards, room service, etc.. is not what we have experienced on other cruise lines of similar size. Wait staff and cooks in the Lido market were attentive and the highlight of the trip. Ordered room service 3X and never received. Laundry services were excellent but the stewards could not seem to deliver to the correct room number. Overall improvement is necessary on this ship to compete with other cruise lines.

Weather was great, nice to visit new areas of the world

To simplify the whole process, make plans (cruise, flights, insurance) directly through Holland. We used Viator when Holland shore excursions were full and that worked well.

If you are a vegan, I would NOT recommend this cruise. I can’t choose an overall rating but if I could it would be a solid ZERO stars. If you can’t get one of your most basic needs met (food) it is going to ruin your trip.

Our cabin person was so helpful, Staff were great!!!

This trip was such a disappointment. We’ve been on 9 Holland cruises and this had to be one of the worse. Wouldn’t recommend Holland for an Alaska cruise.

We did the Denali extension after the cruise and it was wonderful! Train from Whittier was long - almost 11 hours - but we were treated well, fed well and the sights were amazing.

I loved it. I love Alaska. I love to cruise. I love the way HAL treats us all!

Besides, of course, the amazing views of the snow covered mountains. And some wildlife we got to see. It was nice to enjoy the heated pools and the hot tubs nice and relaxing trip.

Our first cruise since March 2020 and second time on this ship. Enjoyable get away and we booked Hawaii for next year while on board as the on board discounts are always the best deal

Our cruise was everything we had hoped for. Great People, Wonderful Food Perfect weather

Overall a little slow for us. This is the 3rd HA cruise we've done and while some ports are nice, there isn't much to do onboard. The most exciting things this time were the Orange Party and the bar crawl.

Great cruise, even though it rained on and off at 3 of the 4 ports. Half Moon Cay is amazing…my favorite of all. Everything else was fantastic.

The ports were (mostly) terrific. This was a cruise well worth taking.

An excellent experience with Holland America as usual. Island paradise beaches with great dining experiences daily.

Relaxing at its best during a very busy season …..we upgrades to a suite on the ship….best thing we could have done…it was absolutely perfect…

Nightmare. Didn’t get to go to any of the places we wanted to go when we booked the trip and treated horribly when we were leaving just because I spent enough to be red flagged when we were getting off the boat.

Loved Half Moon Cay! Great place to relax!! Other ports were great as well.
