To simplify the whole process, make plans (cruise, flights, insurance) directly through Holland. We used Viator when Holland shore excursions were full and that worked well.

We had dinner had two specialty restaurants (Canalletto and Pinnacle) and all the rest in the main dining room. The food in the main dining room was very tasty and the specialty dining rooms were not worth the additional cost. We didn't eat at the buffet. We wished that we had an assigned table and the same service staff every day instead of being moved around as we always enjoy getting to know staff better. We wished for better red wine blend selection covered by our drink plan and we wished that we could have used our drink plan to purchase a bottle for the three of us.
Onboard Activities

We attended several of Dominic's naturalist sessions which were very good. We used the hot tub. This ship has a very nice track on one deck (3 laps for one mile). This was the biggest surprise as Viking and Carnival didn't have this nice a track and for us was the best amenity of the whole ship.

We didn't see many shows, but the ones we saw were very enjoyable.

The cabin was a bit small for the three of us. We recommend getting a veranda which we really enjoyed.
I should have noted that the items on the Final Onboard Account statement printed from the Holland website did not add up and we had to request a more detailed statement from Holland after we returned.
