Our first cruise since March 2020 and second time on this ship. Enjoyable get away and we booked Hawaii for next year while on board as the on board discounts are always the best deal

We were on Nieuw Amsterdam. Loved it. For an older crowd which we are. Piped in music instead of Loud Dj’s and loud music . We loved it. Staff are the nicest and friendly. Our cabin steward always great us by name with a great big Hi. , everyday and always asked how the ports we visited were. Always had ice in the cabin and never needed to ask for anything. Cabin always clean. Food in MDR was absolutely delicious. And buffet for lunch. We don’t usually like buffets but we liked Holland America’s. Ports were fantastic. We didn’t care for the shows but that’s not why we cruise. The Dive-In has the best hamburgs you’ll ever have, better than Guy’s, and they have great hotdogs and fries too.
