Be prepared to queue to disembark at ports and last day!
DLOWLES
Be prepared for a very busy and loud experience. Mayhem, bedlam and anarchy don't cover how busy it is. The ship is supposed to cater for 6300 guests. Too many. You have to queue for everything. Wouldn't recommend if you want a little peace.

Be ready for long queues to get back on board or for shore excursions

Consider YC, even on an inside cabin basis, as you get access to all of the YC facilities and benefits.

Be prepared for crowds. The ship is simply too busy. There are not enough places to escape to, and getting out on deck isn't as easy as on RC ships. Every space is used for the inside, so there is no promenade deck lower down like on other ships. The difference between YC is also too obvious. On RC, my parents had a suite and gold cards but still ate with us, etc. The service in the main ship is so inferior to YC that this would never happen. Main dining room food is not good. They do what they can on such a mass scale, but not once did I say "oh that's delicious." There are literally 3 to 4 classes on these ships. Yes, we saved 4k on our previous cruises, but you could tell. The best thing was the shows, which were very good. We went to a lot of those, which helped.

Book Excursions as early as you can as they can and will run out.

Please just ignore negative reviews. The value for money is unbelievable. It is a lively busy ship, but there are areas to sit quietly if that's what you like. The staff are brilliant. Think what you would get for same money on a British holiday.

Go in yacht club if you can stretch the budget as it's a totally different experience that is top notch

Get prepared to have the best time of your life with the drinks package and entertainment it will be excellent.
elliot92
Go for a Yacht club balcony cabin as apposed to a Yacht Club Duplex, it’s not worth the extra money. Prebook shows to avoid disappointment.

Determine where you want to sit in the buffet dining room before you go get your food. There's always a place to sit. Just figure it out before you start to load up your plate. It can get crowded, but keep walking to the front or the rear, and you should find a table.

If you have the funds, stay away from general population and upgrade to the Yacht Club.
