MSC Virtuosa overview

MSC Virtuosa’s namesake comes from the word virtuoso, meaning someone highly skilled in music. Each deck will, in fact, be named after a different musical instrument. This new cruise ship will be one of the two largest in MSC Cruises’ fleet, along with her sister ship MSC Grandiosa. One of the highlights of MSC Virtuosa’s onboard entertainment will be the two brand new Cirque du Soleil at Sea shows, created exclusively for MSC Cruises’ guests. MSC Virtuosa gives guests the best experience with its expanding digital offer, spearheaded by MSC for Me and the digital cruise assistant, Zoe.

MSC could be a stellar experience if they improved their food and service as well as ability to accommodate the large quantity of people exiting and entering the ship in ports. Will not use them again until they get better reviews in these areas.

Food was horrible. 2 of our party of 6 had food poisoning on different nights. Their buffet would never pass health inspection. Not many activities to do on the ship if you do not get off in port.

We originally had a outside, however entered a silent auction to upgrade the room. We won and it was a very cost effective way to move up the room grade. Glad we did in the end with the extra space.
