Review summary

Cruising in MSC was a horrible experience. Not sure how AA will align with such a horrible company. Had problems with billing, paid for picture package that I was never able to get, paid for drink packaged that allowed me to drink only on type of beer, guest service was bad. To top off, we felt like in prison because we were forced to use only their excursions. Talking about COVID control environment but then put 6 busses in a tour in Lisbon. Won't use this line ever again.

how did they force you to use there shore excursions . did they not let you off the ship if you didnt book an excursion ?

I have sailed 5 times with MSC pre and post pandemic and there is definitely a difference. Since the pandemic the service and food has seriously deteriorated. I sail with MSC for the itinerary and low price which means I can sail a lot more often but until things improve I will only travel with MSC if it is in Yacht Club. I highly recommend it ..facilities, food and service were top notch on the MSC Seaside in May.

Thanks for the review. People either seem to love or hate MSC. Those that seem to enjoy it the most choose the Yacht Club level.

never tried MSC but a simple internet search or YouTube search of "MSC" would have discouraged you from sailing with them.

You should look at the port rules. There are still several ports that require passengers to only leave there cruise ships excursions
