MSC Armonia overview

Partnering with premium brands such as LEGO, Chicco, and Namco to offer stimulating onboard children’s programs, MSC Armonia upholds MSC Cruises’ family-friendly reputation. Younger cruisers can enjoy supervised play in one of the ship's vibrant kids spaces. Adults are sure to enjoy a night of high-stakes fun at the Palm Beach Casino or a massage at the airy Aurea Spa. For further relaxation, the ship’s Solarium provides an adults-only retreat with plenty of poolside lounges.

MSC Armonia was built in 2001 and went through an extensive refurbishment in 2014. An 80-foot section was joined to the middle of the ship to increase its size. With this Lirica-class ship ship being bigger, Armonia added almost 200 more cabins, many with balconies. During the renovation, MSC also updated the ship's spa, enhanced its dining areas, and added colorful new children’s play zones, including Spray Park — a kids’ water play space.

There's no shortage of entertainment on MSC Armonia. It's art deco-style Teatro La Fenice delivers six unique shows every week, with acts ranging from acrobatics to musical revues. For passengers seeking a nightcap after a show, the ship offers a variety of bars and lounges. Options include the high-energy Starlight Disco and the White Lion English Pub. This is one of the few areas onboard where smoking is allowed.

MSC Armonia itineraries and departure ports

Hailing from Miami, MSC Armonia offers 7- and 14-night voyages to destinations in the Caribbean. Ports of call may include Jamaica, the Cayman Islands, Cozumel, Honduras, and Costa Maya. Beginning in 2020, Armonia will also sail to Ocean Cay. This is MSC’s private Bahamian island. Here guests can enjoy seven beaches, a pristine lagoon, and a variety of aquatic sports activities.

Before you book

This ship is best for: Armonia offers a cruising environment with multigenerational appeal. This vessel aims for family appeal. This is evident in the ship's comprehensive children and teen programs to security bracelets that are issued upon boarding and activities such as mini golf and shuffleboard.

You should know: Since therea are no specialty restaurants and the ship features primarily Italian food, it isn’t the ship for cruisers seeking a variety of international dining choices. Travelers looking to try a different mealtime venue each night may want to check out one of the MSC's other ships, such as MSC Seaside or MSC Bellissima.

Activities on MSC Armonia

MSC Armonia’s family-friendly approach to cruising means that many onboard activities have multigenerational appeal. Cruisers of all ages are sure to enjoy Armonia’s mini-golf course, shuffleboard court, and enclosed sports center. The ship also offers several dedicated children’s programs. For parents with young ones ages 1 to 3, the ship’s BabyTime program provides a safe space to play with their tots. LEGO-themed play is available to slightly older children with Armonia’s Mini and Junior clubs, which accommodate kids aged 3 to 6 and 7 to 11 respectively. For tweens and teens, the Young and Teens clubs provide games, entertainment, and dancing.

When it comes to entertainment, the ship’s elegant Teatro La Fenice offers six shows a week, each with two nightly performances. Since Armonia caters to an international crowd, shows focus more on music and artistry than dialogue, so language isn’t a barrier to enjoyment.

Great time, beautiful ports, amazing staff by bcloetta

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: MSC Armonia / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

Beautiful ship, wonderful staff, great new friends made! I think I learned more than anything else that especially in larger ports like Athens to spend less money on hop on hop off busses rather than the excursions.

De Bueno a Regular con Excelente precio by Arthur71

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Armonia / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

Los shows amenizan y estan bien.

Buy drink and water packages . Be aware of the Italian themed entertainment. The evening shows were 30-45 minutes long and you had to prebook everyday for your time slot.

The drinks packages weren't worth it for us so I recommend you to calculate (in average) how many drinks you will have and if it'll be alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks.
