MSC Armonia overview
Partnering with premium brands such as LEGO, Chicco, and Namco to offer stimulating onboard children’s programs, MSC Armonia upholds MSC Cruises’ family-friendly reputation. Younger cruisers can enjoy supervised play in one of the ship's vibrant kids spaces. Adults are sure to enjoy a night of high-stakes fun at the Palm Beach Casino or a massage at the airy Aurea Spa. For further relaxation, the ship’s Solarium provides an adults-only retreat with plenty of poolside lounges.
MSC Armonia was built in 2001 and went through an extensive refurbishment in 2014. An 80-foot section was joined to the middle of the ship to increase its size. With this Lirica-class ship ship being bigger, Armonia added almost 200 more cabins, many with balconies. During the renovation, MSC also updated the ship's spa, enhanced its dining areas, and added colorful new children’s play zones, including Spray Park — a kids’ water play space.
There's no shortage of entertainment on MSC Armonia. It's art deco-style Teatro La Fenice delivers six unique shows every week, with acts ranging from acrobatics to musical revues. For passengers seeking a nightcap after a show, the ship offers a variety of bars and lounges. Options include the high-energy Starlight Disco and the White Lion English Pub. This is one of the few areas onboard where smoking is allowed.
