Review summary

There is so many better cruises I wouldn’t fall for a cheap cruise again as it works out more expensive, the cruise was a nightmare. I even tried to find a flight back from Spain and a lot of other people were also looking. Unfortunately, even after making a complaint the customer service is as useless as it was on the ship and they do not care whatsoever. You feel like you are totally on your own.

Breakfast buffet was impossible. It was crowded, and you had to fight for a seat. Getting a drink was also a nightmare most staff just totally ignored us, the other staff to busy

Didn’t really get much service, unless I pestered for some service and even then getting a drink from a quiet bar was hard. My husband couldn’t get my drink for me. As the bar man said one drink per person but we in the same room

Dirty ship, jacuzzis had dark rim around the sides, no soap or hand sanitizer many of times. Room filthy and smelt of urine

You shouldn’t have to pay extra for a clean and maintained ship. Those photos showed a lack of maintenance and cleaning. You are not the first to post about the horrible customer service on MSC ships.

Two of the most crowded ships in the MSC cruise line is Meraviglia and Virtuoso. Both dock at popular ports. MSC isn't that bad on other ships, especially smaller ships. And you can always book the Yacht Club (ship within a ship) option and be treated like a king/queen.You wouldn't believe you were on the same ship. I have two bookings on the Virtuoso ship back to back (total 19 days) coming up in the autumn and I'm only going specifically to see the port cities and to blend in with my other cruises before and after MSC. My sailing is in October and unfortunately that's around school break in northern Europe.
