Beautiful suite, ship, kind staff, food and service lacking by cypresslodge201

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: MSC Seashore

Seashore is a beautiful clean ship with lovely cabins, kind staff. Just not enough staff, really subpar service and food. Has potential to be great.

Not my favorite by Danicajoan

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: MSC Seashore

You will be disappointed with basic level of food. Make sure to double check where your room is in association with the noisy places in the ship. If they give you a free upgrade, make sure to question the downside of the surroundings. Also, make sure that the ship has features you are interested in, and if there are large areas block off to your enjoyment. I will not go on this ship again. So many people were disappointed.

Not happy by renaruth78

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: MSC Seashore

Pros: The ship is beautiful and full of a lot of things to do. The best meal in the marketplace buffet is breakfast. Cons: I'd say get the speciality dinning package or eat in your assigned restaurant for lunch and dinner because lunch and dinner in the marketplace had a lot of watered down inedible items. People complained about the food in there. Room service was bad. They didn't have the items they showed on their room service menu and the food was always cold because they delivered multiple room service orders at once. Two of my family members cabins had to be cleaned when we got there because they were never cleaned. This was our first time on MSC and I gave it the benefit of the doubt after all of the mixed reviews. I don't plan to travel MSC again unless some changes are made. Food is a big part of why people go on cruises. Especially after we pay all that money for the tickets. The least you can do is make sure the free food is good so that people won't talk bad about it. There were others that talked bad about the food and mentioned trying to get their money back.

Amazing Value, Great Ship, awesome staff, food and entertainment OK but for the price A+ by proflowusa1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seashore

For the money you could not beat this cruise, great ports, great ship and staff. Food was mediocre but for 50$ a day for a balcony room I wasn't expecting any lobster nights.

Just not for us by Gammers

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: MSC Seashore

We were in yacht club; the rest of our family was in Aurea suites. We might as well have been on two separate cruises. We did not enjoy the yacht club strict seclusion but found the rest of the ship boisterous.

Ship was great but watch out for staff and purchased packages. by Cruiser16424295

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: MSC Seashore

Ship is beautiful and food is great. The room is spacious. The service needs a lot of work and staff needs to be informative of what they are selling and what they serve.

Amazing experience. by gipsyperry23

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: MSC Seashore

Great cruise. They need to work better with the ports that are difficult to get to shore. More organization and order to disembark and embark the ship.

Retirement trip, terrible cabin located above the smoking section of ship. Noise all hours of the night. by cpilz

Again, I traveled solo as a retirement gift and was very disappointed with cabin location and food in Marketplace.

Fun. But not the best cruise I've been on by

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seashore

Beware the extra charges to get to the port locations! I've never seen a cruise line charge you to get off the boat and into the ports of call. And the cities are far (30+ minutes by public transportation)

Amazing ship - not so good service by LuisafromMiami

Super modern ship with good food and entertainment. Nice itinerary, beautiful beaches. Service was not the best, they need more/better trained people.

Worst trip ever by falaandre

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: MSC Seashore / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

This was one of the worse cruises I have ever taken. The food was badly cooked, or always cold when it arrived. The only up side was the dining staff. The were wonderful.

Wonderful Itinerary and Cruise Ship, mostly non-english speaking crew members by DECruiser1119

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: MSC Seashore / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Overall MSC Seashore is a excellent ship - unlike most of carnival, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, Holland, Celebrity, etc. Excellent floor plan - loads of places to catch breathtaking views of ocean. Most of the negative experience came from full booked ship. 70% of the crew & passengers were Non-English speaking.

Nice ship - clean - exiting ship could be improved !! by tgmyers53

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: MSC Seashore / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Loved the boat it was beautiful!! Super clean.. Food was great!! Several different items to pick from on the menu..Loved the entertainment you could view from several floors!! Dining area was hot and exiting boat could be improved!! Shows were duplicated dancers/acrobatic with different outfits on. Rating the shows least favorite was Amore to the best Coast to Coast. Picture packet deals were pre sold at 10/$100. On the boat sales were 10/$79?? We had to pick out our pictures for the entire trip in several glass display shelves before we could purchase the pictures, very disorganized. They did have a kiosk for picking out pictures that served no purpose at all? The internet on the boat that was free in our package deal was little to none!! The MSC app also needs improvements. Message part would send out two to three hours later. Overall, I would sail on this boat again, providing the heat/air and exiting the boat for excursions would improve. I will definitely keep an eye on other reviews for future trips on MSC…

Never Again by connarhenderson

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seashore / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

This was our honeymoon and we were extremely let down. The people on the ship were not the friendliness, the food was nothing special, the entertainment was pretty boring, and there weren't too many amenities to keep you busy on the ship. The staff was very unorganized and seemed to get very overwhelmed. I personally have been on many cruises and this was definitely my least favorite. I would not recommend.

Overall we had a very good two weeks on the Seashore. We were able to relax. While we did not go to any of the shows, we have in the past and they have been very good.

Such an overall amazing experience. Traveled with my aunt and grandmother and we all had a blast. Everything from the ship to the food to the service was top notch! We visited the most beautiful beaches on all the islands. And excellent shows and shows and entertainment.
