It was our first ever time cruising on the MSC. Prior to now, we average about 3 cruises each year to different parts of the world. I had brought my family members along and were a group of 8, ranging in ages from 5 years old to 71. by rlee2102

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: MSC Seashore / Destination: Caribbean

To be perfectly honest, we probably would not consider this cruise line again for our future cruises. It truly left a lot to be desired. We were disappointed at the quality of the drinks and liquor they serve. The noise level throught the ship was intolerable. The layout of the Buffet dining area was weird, lengthy and hard to negotiate. Overall, this would not be our preferred choice.

Cruise was relaxing...not a big party. Very few drunk people. We loved it and would definitely sail again.

The ship was everything I dreamed it would be. by alrey1205

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: MSC Seashore / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The ship and it's layout, in particular, the Infinity pool and glass walkways, provided breathtaking views. Outstanding service, including the "Italian Flair" I expect from MSC Crusies. Definitiy a trip to take.

Excellent by setu01

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: MSC Seashore / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Overall good experience other than the food mess up for vegetarians. No labels for the food made it hard to understand what food choices we had with dietary restrictions.

Wonderful cruise by rbudjak1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seashore / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The ship decor is very elegant with plenty of comfortable sitting ares with sea view. Four decks (5,6,7 & 8) have long indoor promenades for walking. Deck 8 has an outdoor walkway as well. All ship personnel were very friendly, helpful and efficient.

Nice ship lousy food and customer service by spluscross

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seashore / Destination: Caribbean - Western

MSC needs to get their act together from not being able to see your cruise when logged in to the web site to customer service before and during the cruise.

Second time on this not as good as first by blanks1057

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seashore / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Know that the elevators are the worse of any ship we have been on, you choose the floor you want when you walk up to the elevator and you wait and wait as long as 10 minutes. If you want to get off at another floor you are out of luck unless someone else on the elevator pushed that number floor. If MSC wants to serve the American clientele they need to add a crap table in the casino.

Great ship, staff, and itinerary! by bwsouthern

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: MSC Seashore / Destination: Caribbean - Western

We loved the ship, it was very beautiful, clean, and a great layout. Many of the common areas were very spread out so you did not feel the ship was very crowded. All the staff were very nice, friendly, and very helpful!

MSC needs to learn how to service the North American market if they want to gain any market share. by kkmc0425

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seashore / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

This ship and our room made more noise than the 4th of July. The ship made noises all night and when it was reported at the front desk they said it’s impossible and we were wrong. At the same time they advised a wheelchair to disembark would cost us $200. The crew in the dining room seemed to be in a training session. They were good but very inexperienced. Nobody ever came to our table to say thank you during the entire cruise.. If you want to attract the North American market you need the staff to understand English. Waiting in line for over to hours to board is ridiculous and dangerous. Paying extra to get a shrimp cocktail, steak and ice cream is really cheap. Just raise your prices a few bucks. You gave the impression to everybody we talked to your in financial trouble. This was our second MSC cruise and our last. .

MSC Seashore by Saskmomof4

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seashore

We really enjoyed the Seashore. The shows were great. Le Cabaret Rouge was awesome. The Duo singing in the Uptown Lounge were amazing. The dualing pianos were so good. Did I always have the best meal? NO. Did I go hungry? Hell NO - I gained 10 pounds!! Would I sail MSC again - YES. Embarkation was a bit tedious until we got past the first floor then since we were Aurea it went very fast. The staff was great - never had any issue. I did find the constant selling of specialty dining a bit annoying but if you said no thank you - they were good and left you alone.

Beautiful Ship, Horrible Food by Kiwi247

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seashore / Destination: Caribbean

This was our 4th MSC cruise and it needs improvement with food quality and selections. Give your clients maps of the ship instead of telling them to find an elevator to figure out where things are. Improve your embarkation process. The Elevators are ridiculous design. Poor scheduling for meet and greets for some clients.
