Review summary

This was our honeymoon and we were extremely let down. The people on the ship were not the friendliness, the food was nothing special, the entertainment was pretty boring, and there weren't too many amenities to keep you busy on the ship. The staff was very unorganized and seemed to get very overwhelmed. I personally have been on many cruises and this was definitely my least favorite. I would not recommend.

Embarkation

Not terrible. But chaotic and not very organized.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Nothing to boast about. The dining rooms had extensive lines every night and there was no organization nor guidance. The food was nothing great. The bars were only selectively open so it was always a long wait for any type of drink. We only spent the extra money on Holas Tacos and that wasn't great either. We thought we'd be impressed with at least some of the food since my agent that booked the stay said the food was fantastic...but no..we were very let down.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The pool was always over-packed. There was never room for a chair if you didn't get there right in the morning and reserve one. I personally don't use a fitness center on vacation so I can't touch on that.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The shows were pretty cool. The entertainment throughout the rest of the ship was pretty boring.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Our room steward was lovely. The waiters were mostly kind and helpful but there were some that definitely were overwhelmed and you could tell.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
They did a great job keeping the ship clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Size and comfort were pretty good.

Ship tip

Research the ship before you go on it! I don't recommend it.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

2 out of 5
Busy, stinky, overpopulated, and dirty.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

2 out of 5
We didn't get to the port until 5pm so everything was closing for the night except for bars and restaurants. So there wasn't too much to see.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

4 out of 5
The island was very pretty and the people were kind.

Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic

2 out of 5
Nothing too special about this port. The local vendors were very pushy wanting you to utilize their services. We went ziplining but it wasn't as cool as we thought it'd be.

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas

3 out of 5
This private island was cool since it only had our ship there but besides the beach, there was nothing to do.

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
Nassau was our favorite. We walked around the town and also went on a catamaran and snorkeled. We had the most fun at this port.

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
There was no organization for the disembarkation. People were pushing, butting the lines, and being rude while trying to get to Borders & Customs. There was one woman trying to make a single file line but would let certain people (other than disabled or strollers) skip the line. Or she would push people into the side of people who had been waiting for a while. It was very frustrating.
