Review summary

Overall we had a very good two weeks on the Seashore. We were able to relax. While we did not go to any of the shows, we have in the past and they have been very good.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Since I was in a wheelchair they have a special couple of desks and the person we had was quick to get us checked in and give us our cabin cards. Then it was just a few minutes until we were on board.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food in the main dining room was as usual very good, with excellent service. Ate in the Butcher's Cut and Teppanyaki and both had excellent food and excellent service. You can't go wrong eating at either or both.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
I can't really give a rating as the only thing we did was once get in one pool for a bit. It was nice but I do wish the one end was a bit less deep.

Entertainment

we did not go to any shows

Children's Programs

no children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All the service we received was excellent. I do wish there were more bar staff circulating in all the bar areas and the buffet and main dining room.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship is easy to get around. The design is nice without being over powering.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin 5164 is a Handicap Ocean View. That means for two people there is a lot of room. Parking my wheelchair was easy and it did not get in the way. The bathroom is a roll in and so is the shower, which has a fold down seat. If you want the bed split one side can be moved away so you get two beds. Our cabin steward was very good in keeping the cabin clean. We did ask for a second chair and once it was in it fit perfect. No reason not to have two in all the time.

Ship tip

With limited out door space if you want a spot in the shade, find it early.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida Did not visit port

we have been to Miami many times

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

W\e have been a few times and have found the people are pushy so we did not get off, could do without stopping here.

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
We love George Town. We have done excursions so we just walk around. We wanted to have lunch at a place away from George Town but the cost of taxi was way to high, next time we will get a car and drive our self. So we decided to go to a favorite restaurant but they were closed, found that Covid shut them down and the people left. Hope someone else will open it back up.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
No excursion here for us. We have been many times so we go to the MEGA store. They have everything you could need or want. We buy liquor here as the prices are so good. And we also get powdered drink mixes as the prices can't be beat, $.50 or less for a package which makes 2 liters of drink.

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas

4 out of 5
This port is very clean with a bunch of places to get in the water. Our one complaint is there is not much shade and the beach chairs are so low to get in an out is not easy, even though you get an umbrella. It would be nice if they built some more Gazebos with normal height chairs for shade.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
I can only give a good rating because we were on back to back and the first disembarkation was a mess, we should have only been off the ship for an hour then get back on. But they had a major problem with some people that did not want to get off and had to be escorted, as soon as they were off and it was realized we were back to back we got on right away. At the end of the second week it was very quick in getting off.
