Disorganized cruise line with very poor service, but wonderful ports of call by Finglofin77

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Divina / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Our MSC cruise was only enjoyable when we weren't dealing with MSC staff and crew. We chose the cruise based on the ports of call. The ports were all fun and we had a great time on the excursions. The MSC cruise line is very disorganized and the entertainment on the ship is not as nice as other cruise lines. The disembarkation process is the most disorganized that I have ever been a part of on any cruise line. We will not be back on any MSC cruise ever again.

MSC Let Down by Troy30

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Divina / Destination: Caribbean

If I were speaking to the cruise line directly I would say that most of us work our a** off all year and when we take a vacation we go to relax be entertained, eat some good food and visit someplace that we can recall when we get so old that we can't move anymore, We can look back at the trip as a great experience. I think MSC dropped the ball on meeting those goals. I hope this helps some of you who are looking for the same qualities in a vacation. As for me, I will have to wait another year and try another cruise line to meet my vacation goals.

Good not great by grahamgnome

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Divina / Destination: Caribbean

Yacht Club was a major disappointment. Ship is beautiful but crowded. Weather was bad (very windy), so late into some ports. Ports are crowded because all the mega ships go to the same ports (45,000+ people dumped on San Juan while we were there.)

One and Done! by rkuhl86242

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Divina / Destination: Caribbean

Negatives: extremely unhappy with minimal dining options, buffet over crowded, not enough seating and same food day after day, little to do during the day, very poor guest relations desk, we were without toilets ship wide for several hours one day, in our case on 2 separate days!! These were just a few of a very long list. Positives: wonderful room, excellent entertainment, fabulous dining staff in Black Crab that served us. For us overall experience 3 out of 10.

Cabin 15029 YC1 by MyVaycay

7 day Christmas cruise to the Caribbean. First time on MSC. The ship was very elegant, we were in the yacht club, the staff was amazing, the food was good. The kids / tween clubs need improvement. This was a relaxing cruise it was not a fast paced cruise packed with back to back activities like we’ve experienced in the past. If it were just my husband and I it would be perfect but for a 12 year old MSC needs more stuff to do. Overall I give it 4 stars and we would cruise with them again.

It was ok by Kllblunt

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: MSC Divina / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

3 days is not long enough to really explore the ship. MSC is definitely a different experience than what I am use to. There are multiple different languages spoken and announcements are made in multiple languages. The muster drill was long and was required to bring life jackets. In my opinion the food in main dining room tastes much better than at buffet. It was an ok cruise. This was my first time exploring MSC.

Beautiful Ship, Confusing layout, Terrible Service especially room attendant and dining staff by MindyLeveille

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: MSC Divina / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Ship could receive better reviews if they held their employees to higher standards! I've never witnessed such poor customer service! Run as fast as you can, and maybe in 10 years, it'll be revamped and better!

Not the best, but not the worse! by Onthegochick

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: MSC Divina / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

This was our first MSC cruise and our travel agent had never been on or any of our friends, so we where guinea pigs! We should have let someone tried it out instead of us! A week of work vacation was used up, unexpected charges and FLL airport was no piece of cake!

OverPromise and UnderDeliver by DaveFarris

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Divina

Itinerary was great. price was great, but that’s where it ended. The most uncaring unprofessional crew I’ve ever encountered except for cabin steward. I sincerely think they will fail in the America market. They cater to Europeans especially Italian German and Spaniards. Just my honest opinion and I did not let it cause me to dislike our time onboard. You make your own vacation , sometimes people can make it better or worse

Great Caribbean cruise by judymae1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: MSC Divina / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This was my first cruise so it was all new to me. I thought the ship had a lot of diversity to it with a great selection of things to do. A beautiful ship. Food was great. Everyone was very pleasant. Always a smile and willing to help. Didn’t see a category for internet but it was very poor. Needs improvement.

First cruise with our daughter by jaybee79a

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: MSC Divina

It was a relaxing (test) cruise to see if our daughter (aged 3) was seaworthy - she was. The weather was really good for begin of November but you can also feel that the sea is rougher than during the summer season. When we found the cruise we first asked our travel agency if the price was correct because it was really a good deal.

LOVELY SHIP PETTY RULES ! A COMPLETE BUST by KRKella

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Divina / Destination: Europe

As frequent cruisers, this was our first, and most likely our last cruise with Divina. They have so much potential, but alas, the devil was definatley in the details, here. My wife and I are in our mid 60s, and relatively healthy, but with dietary restrictions. This cruise was amateurish, insofar that they offered very limited health options, ie salad entrees, healthy meats, gluten free options. The buffet was much more rewarding than the dining hall selections, and tasted like re heated food. And , the coup de gras.......NO DAMNED WATER AT ANY MEALS, how it this even legally allowed ? Sorry, very very disappointing. Grow up, MSC .
