As frequent cruisers, this was our first, and most likely our last cruise with Divina. They have so much potential, but alas, the devil was definatley in the details, here. My wife and I are in our mid 60s, and relatively healthy, but with dietary restrictions. This cruise was amateurish, insofar that they offered very limited health options, ie salad entrees, healthy meats, gluten free options. The buffet was much more rewarding than the dining hall selections, and tasted like re heated food. And , the coup de gras.......NO DAMNED WATER AT ANY MEALS, how it this even legally allowed ? Sorry, very very disappointing. Grow up, MSC .
Embarkation

sadly, we were tired from travel, and hustled by the dippy photographer, as well, the beverage package girl, even before reaching the gangway. Completely innappropriate.

Food and Dining
1 out of 5
Did I mention, if you don't pay extra for a Beverage Package, you will receive absolutely "0", water, of even a coffee , or a tea, at all the dining halls, obviously to pressure you into paying 100s more for even your basic drink package. BIZZARE !
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
corny stuff, But hey , pools were app 70 F, too cold to swim, hot tubs were "luke warm "tubs. Cheapo cost cutting stuff, you would not expect on a well known cruise line.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
more like your high school plays, with some pretty ok moments, where the 2 predominant Italian tenors, actually stopped trying to out screech one another, while going off on their own interpretation of Freddie Mercury, and sang a pretty fair duet.
Children's Programs
no kids
Service and Staff

no attention to Hygeine, such a s Norweigians "washy washy. hand sanitizing stations. Room was kept relatively clean. Beware, no towel animals though.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
again, Id give it higher marks, as its a gorgeous vessel, but the main lobby area is abuzz with the on board Photo package hustlers. and here's a good one- you have to go thru the "smoke filled" casino to dine, as well as to hit the gym . Double uggggh !
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Cabin was the key selling point. We were blessed to be upgraded to a starboard side balcony room. Ate most of our meals there. Snuck in the H20 !
Ship tip
Make sure you get MSC to include the basic beverage plan, before paying a penny ! If its not included, then shop around . Theres likely a better deal out there 4 U.
Hen the divina came to miami, we tried m s c. Not impressed. The Italians have attitudes, some of them. But a beautiful ship. . sounds like its gotton alot worse. Sad. Chairs were a shortage. Some would take over your chairs while going to the bathroom. I had one person with a attitude and I told him what right do you have to take my wifes and i chairs. I bitched the ass out. We stick with Carnival. End of story...
