Get a stateroom in the back third of the Freedom of the Seas. a quick elevator ride put us almost in the main dining rooms, buffet, two of three specialty restaurants, the kids programs, and the sports deck.

Don't eat at Chops Grille. It's not worth the money.

Get "Early" dinner seating if you want to make any of the shows. DO use the "Windjammer" for breakfast! Huge selection (all buffet style) and better seating! Plenty of "window" table/seats for enjoying sea view. The lunch on Coco Cay was also outstanding! Best hot dogs I've had in a long time.

Stick with formal dining over windjammer. It better food and in a more enjoyable atmosphere.

We liked ordering our breakfast in the main dining room. It was in Leonardo's. The Windjammer has a lot of buffet choices. And our dinners in the main dining room were very nice. Pay attention to entertainment times so you can schedule without missing any. Read your daily Compass for all events.

This was my 4th cruise and by far the worst. Other people in our group have been on as many as 12 cruises. I am extremely disappointed in Royal Caribbean. The ship is nice. It is easy to get around. There is a lack of outdoor lounge/social areas that was disappointing. The food on this cruise wa

Need to explain the dress policy for dinner especially to first time cruise people. We spoke to some people that did not bring any dress up clothes, just short and tops, so they had to eat at windjammer at the time and missed the dining experience.

Pick the right dining time, you will not be able to change it daily etc.

plan out your day accordingly it is so much to do

Eat in the main dining room, especially at night, as it has much better food. The shows get better after the first two nights--those were awful!

MAIN DINING ROOM THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLANT. THE FOOD BARLY PASSED MUSTER. THE DESS CODE WAS ABANDONED ALL TOGATHER ,IE: MEN WEARING HATS AT THE DINING TABLE, WEARING CUT OFFS EVEN DURING FORMAL NIGHTS.AND ON ,AN ON.

Try to book a newer ship

Don't fall for the meeting in the Arcadia during port days for excursions. It's a trap to control the flow of disembarkation but it's under staffed and confusing. Just go outside and look for your zone it will save you some grief

I wish they had more areas to get coffee and drinks, they were only in the café and the windjammer.

I actually liked the Windjammer food better than the dining room at times. It had more flavorful selections.

Great memories, enjoyable and elegant dining experience (formal dinner, breakfast and the Wind Jammer all are exceptional). After daily tours evening are fill with top class shows. The formal wear evening add elegance and class. Music and band provide a relaxation and a happy feelings.

if you have a balcony room be sure to keep your door closed...keeps the room cool. If you want something...just ask. If it is in their power, they will get you what you want. The dining staff and room steward want you to have a great experience.

THE FOOD ALL OVER THE SHIP WAS VERY GOOD

Our balcony room provided a great view whether we were cruising or in port.

Our experience with the special luncheon at Sabor was fantastic!
