Wonderful pre-Holidays voyage. The level of service is remarkable, the Pinnacle, Tamarind and Rudi's Seafood were perfect. The Pinnacle's menu could stand a few upgrades and new entrees as it has been the same for our last 4 cruises. Met so many nice people. Thank You HAL

Seeing Ketchikan and Seattle.

Seeing the glaciers in Glacier Bay was fantastic.  Hearing about them from the guide on board gave me food for thought about Global warming. 

Being with friends old and new.

We had a great time. Sorry not to have seen Sitka, due to weather conditions. Next time! 

Seattle was wonderful. Stayed in a condo in Belltown near Pike' s Market and we were close to the Space Needle and Chihuly Gardens and Glass House.

This is a cruise I would highly recommend to anyone.

Holland America is a great cruise line for older passengers and those who like smaller, less crowded ships with less wait times. Their service is mostly better than other cruise lines.

No complaints, wonderful way to travel. Enjoyed every minute. Hope to retun to Alaska and explore more in the future.

Love it and would do it again. I really enjoy how big the ship was and all the food was good. Staff were very nice and polite. I would recommend this cruise to everyone.

I loved the scenery and glimpses of nature. Since it was early May, the weather was still cool. We had rain most days. The Explorer Cafe was a fun place to listen to the Rangers and cruise through Glacier Bay. Really enjoyed the Test Kitchen presentations as well as the BB King Blues and Lincoln Center music ensembles. Lots to do but very relaxing.

Low key, friendly staff, excellent service from Hendra and Tama in the dining room! I give the cruise a four because the food could've been better. More of an older crowd. We are in our mid 30's and didn't mind the boat being mainly over 55. The entertainment on the ship was actually really good! We enjoyed every show we watched.

We chose this cruise for the three days in Greenland, a huge bucket list item for us, we were delighted with all the ports. The staff and crew of Eurodam are excellent in every way, and the ship beautiful

Holland America to Alaska is for animal loving nerds like me and it’s got many options for vegetarians.

Overall Alaska was incredible but this particular Holland America Cruise left much to be desired. Service on the ship was well below expectations. There was a very large conference group on this cruise, at the same time as we were, and they were given priority while the rest of us passengers (not part of that group) were not treated as well. Alaska was a beautiful as expected!! We had terrific weather (high 50's to 70's - varied in each port) but no rain!! We loved seeing Alaska but the cruise, itself, was very disappointing.

I get very motion sick as does my son. We got the patches and did fine.

Overall a wonderful experience. Just wish there had been more time in ports to do more exploring. Really enjoyed the days we were at sea because it provided some much needed down time between excursions.

We were very worried about cruising during Covid. However--it was a lovely cruise. There were only 536 passengers on board due to many cancellations on a ship that could hold 2000 passengers. Everyone on board followed Covid protocols (except for some in the casino who had to be reminded continuously to wear a mask). The ship was clean and continually sanitized. The only change to our cruise was that the stop to Aruba was cancelled pre-cruise. No reason was given by Holland America and there was no refund of port charges.

Will have more photos when I have time to edit. This cruise for us was about rest and relaxation and overall HAL made that happen.

We would definitely do it again but it would have to be a longer cruise. We would want to see more ports and stay longer in each port and take more advantage of the resources on the ship.

We picked this cruise for the stops. We booked a suite since we ere going to be on ship for 10 days ...We have cruised many times. The ship is in need of some repairs..which surprised me since it was supposed have been refurbished within..the last few years..Our suite was very nice and the service in cabin was great. The best of the stops was St Petersburg Russia even with the mishaps that happened on our tour. The food was mediocre at best. It seems that all of the ships have cut back on food choices and quality. The private suite lounge was very nice except that there is NO windows.....Very little on ship activities compared to others and the entertainment was mostly like watching my Grandkids recitals. The dining room service left some to be desired. ..But as in most things...Great company always has great fun... They have some improvements to be done.

We had a good time even in spite of my mobility issues. Get great souvenir discounts when you sail the 2nd to the last sailing of the season. got a $4000 fur blanket for $1600… a “hand down as a family heirloom” type thing. We are talking about taking an inland passage next time.

The cruise exceeded our expectations of cruising.

This cruise actually exceeded our expectations, but we were also very lucky to get wonderful weather! Only had occasional showers at two ports, which is unusual for Alaska, but made our verandah a wonderful place to hang out, listen to the water and enjoy Alaska's landscape.
