Review summary

No complaints, wonderful way to travel. Enjoyed every minute. Hope to retun to Alaska and explore more in the future.

Embarkation

Our very first cruise. We feared kaos and it was so smooth and easy. From the time we arrived at the pier, to opening our stateroom door, it went easily and I was pushing my mom in a wheelchair. Everyone was pleasant and helpful.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
MDR was very nice, food was excellent, service was great. It does take extra time to get through your seating/meal, but unless you have booked something or in a hurry to see a show, no reason to be in a hurry. We had early seating at 5:30, actually felt rushed towards end as they need you out for preparing next seating. Buffet/Lido quite a variety and always clean and organized. Hotdogs/burgers and Pizza were all great as well. The only specialty restaurant we ate at was the Italian one. Food and service was great.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Plenty to do, we had thermal suite/hydro pool passes and enjoyed very much.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Great entertainment, would have enjoyed additional live band music over piano lounge but that is a personal preference.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Experienced very polite and helpful staff throughout the whole cruise. Very impressive how they can stay positive and smiling and curtious for each round of passengers.

Ship Quality

We were on Deck 8 Navigation. Worked out perfect for us. Had mom in Wheelchair, able to get everywhere easily. Used public restrooms quite often including handicapped, always clean and available.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Perfect for us. Mom was in 8026 a handicap room, we were able to open up our deck divider and enjoyed extra large deck. Had 7 of us out there comfortably. Room was comfortable, bed was fabulous, slept so well. Plenty of storage, bathroom was larger than I expected, everything in working order.

Ship tip

Enjoy all of the great places to gather and relax. Indoors and outdoors whether it be outside on 9 or indoors on 11 or lounges, take it all in.

Enjoyed Seattle, would actually like to return. Took Ride the Duck tour, perfect way to see a lot of points of interest (annoying announcer, But just part of experience and did learn a lot about the city)

Lumberjack Show was really good. Walked around, very clean and pretty but where everyone likes to hit souvenir shops, a bit crowded.

Victoria, British Columbia

What a beautiful city. Need more time there. Butchart Gardens are very nice. Bus guide very informative of history of city and gardens, hope to visit with more time someday.

Disembarkation

Again, very empressed with smooth process, however my hubby's luggage did not arrive at our spot and we had to have shipped home. Fluke , did not let it ruin our trip.
