Eurodam overview
Incorporating Holland America’s signature one-of-a-kind experiences, Eurodam was designed for sophisticated cruisers who want to try something new on vacation. The ship’s Music Walk entertainment complex lets passengers immerse themselves in the soulful Memphis lounge scene at B.B. King's Blues Club or savor classical favorites at Lincoln Center Stage. For travelers with more mainstream musical tastes, musicians deliver chart-topping favorites at the Billboard Onboard piano bar.
Cruisers seeking more than just a tourist experience will enjoy Explorations Central. Here they can learn about the ship's ports of call. With BBC Earth Experiences, passengers can explore the natural world through groundbreaking concerts and films. Lifelong learners will also appreciate cooking workshops and demonstrations sponsored by America’s Test Kitchen. And while the adults enhance their technology skills at a Microsoft digital workshop or try their luck in a casino tournament, younger cruisers can engage in scavenger hunts, themed parties, and arts and crafts through Club HAL. Plus, active travelers of all ages can take part in friendly competition on the ship's outdoor sports courts.
Eurdoam entered service in 2008 and was refurbished in December 2015. The refurbishment added a number of new venues and activity options, including the Gallery Bar where cruisers can enjoy exciting new signature cocktails. The vessel also came away from the modernization with fully upgraded suites.
Eurodam itineraries and departure ports
Eurodam cruises range up to 27 days, voyaging throughout the Pacific Northwest and Alaska, the Mexican Riviera, the Caribbean, Hawaii, and the Panama Canal. Pacific Northwest cruises leave from Seattle and Vancouver, while voyages to tropical locations sail from either San Diego or Fort Lauderdale.
Before you book
This ship is best for: Travelers looking for a sophisticated cruise will appreciate the amenities and entertainment options on Eurodam. From chamber music at Lincoln Center Stage to upscale dining venues such as Rudi’s Sel de Mer, Eurodam offers choices that will appeal to cruisers with refined tastes.
You should know: Holland America's Eurodam is not a party ship and doesn’t offer the variety of thrilling amenities that some larger cruise ships have. Cruisers looking for vibrant nightlife or amusement park-style rides should look into family-oriented mega-ships.
