You will pay for Bottled water. Try to educate yourself to all possibilities of shipboard life. We never found all of the info - they did not provide us with enough info. Read Reviews. Ours is 5-star. Haven't read other reviews yet, but I can't imagine what world people are living in that went on our cruise and gave a bad review.

BB King Blues club was fun! If you do not want to get fancy for Gala Night in Dining Room, they had the same menu on the Lido.

If you can afford it, get a Neptune Suite. It is like being on a different ship from the rest of the passengers.

Ask for "house wine". Otherwise the menu only has name brands at $$.$$

The Silk Den was always a quiet bar with a great view...an alternative to the Crowsnest.

Book all that you can in advance through HAL's website, such as wine packages, spa packages, massage, etc... it avoids having to rush around when you arrive and you can enjoy just exploring the ship. Whatever happens, relax and enjoy it! You aren't working!

If it is not raining, take your food from Lido Market out by the pool on the aft deck. Beautiful views and you might see a whale.

Don't come on the Eurodam expecting a raucous party atmosphere, (at least not on the Alaskan cruises). As huge as the ship was, it felt cozy, never crowded. This was an older group of passengers on average. There were plenty of younger teens and children on the ship but we never seemed to see them. But we didn't spend much time on the Lido deck.

Don't mess with the drink packages, unless you're going to drink 15 drinks a day!
