One VERY AMAZING AND IMPORTANT THING: THE ROOMS WERE SO QUIET - NEVER HAVE I EVER EXPERIENCED SUCH A PLEASANTLY QUIET NIGHT. What did you do to the walls, floor & ceiling that makes it so sound proof? what's the secret? I am a light sleeper and am most appreciative 5-star Stellar Service; Epic Journey; we'll be back! Even though it's great in the Spa, or deck-gazing, Don't just sit on the ship, Get out there. You'll be glad you did. I don't get these negative reviews I see - they're right next to the 5-star reviews. I read them before going and they confused & scared me - I didn't know what to expect. And don't blame anyone but yourself if you don't have a good time. Ask for what you want. the staff is eager to please. Get some binoculars & waterproof warm clothes and get out there. It's amazing!

Lido was a zoo. We opted for the Dining Room - no lines with our assigned table. We had special dietary restrictions & they did a tasty job of honoring our needs. We were treated like kings everywhere we went. We preferred to make friends of our wonderful service staff. Tamarind is a Must-Eat.

Not enough variety. But no matter. There was so much to do without activities! Favorite: Spa & using our binoculars outside on deck to spot wildlife

Our cabin was spacious & soundproof. the view from our window afforded us up close and personal visits with sea otters and other views.

so clean I would not have a problem eating off any surface, ample room, ample storage, lots of nooks, shelves, seating areas for different purposes, comfy bed, great lighting, great TV, better than any 5-star hotel I've ever been in. Our cabin Steward, YAYA & his sidekick, Jar were fantastic. Great view from the window at all hours of day or night. Temperature not always as we wanted it. But close!

Ship tip

You will pay for Bottled water. Try to educate yourself to all possibilities of shipboard life. We never found all of the info - they did not provide us with enough info. Read Reviews. Ours is 5-star. Haven't read other reviews yet, but I can't imagine what world people are living in that went on our cruise and gave a bad review.

We booked an extra day so we could self-tour all over seattle. glad we did! It was a rare perfect day for viewing Mt Rainier, for being outside & lots was happening. Don't miss Chihuly Gardens - there's a Children's area next to it that's free & there's a walking labyrinth there too. Chinatown is nice. There was a Cosplay thing & art gallery happenings going between there & Japantown - quite colorful.
