It was overall a nice cruise. The highlight was going through the Panama Canal.

Pool needed to be cleaned regularly! 16 days of sunscreen film and debris was in the water towards the end of the cruise.

Acts were OK, not great except the Latin divos were fun! The trio in the Ocean Bar were great. We really miss the Lincoln Center stage!

Room stewards were phenomenal! The Main dining, Lido, bar and pool staff were not always welcoming, friendly, attentive and courteous. The staff in the coffee bars were terrific.

Obstruction was not ideal. The staff could view into our cabin when servicing the lifeboat outside our window.
Ship tip
We heard that priests will no longer be on All Holland America, cruise line ships. This will be important for staff, and those who wish to go to daily mass to be aware of.
We did not see an interesting excursion, and the main city was 20 miles away. There was a nice park that we could’ve walked in with a pool and lounge chairs that looked inviting.
With traffic, our trip to Antigua was three hours which was very long and a small bus without restrooms. Our guide was very knowledgeable and told us interesting things about Guatemala along the way. I did not enjoy the trip to the jade factory very much.
We did not take an excursion as the arrival time to the port was so early. We enjoyed walking along the beach and shopping in the shopping areas at the port.
