Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Pinnacle Grill and Tamarind were excellent. We ate dinner in the dining room once and it was just okay and ate breakfast once there and it was awful. French toast that came soggy and cold and scrambled eggs that were runny...totally inedible. The Lido omelet bar and salad bar were excellent. I never had to wait in a long line for my meal. The bar staff on the ship were great. We had so much fun with all of them.

Onboard Activities

Casino

It was fun, however, there were 3 guests playing a table game almost every evening when we were there, who were obnoxiously loud for such a small space. One of the men was using language totally inappropriate for a mixed group. I feel the staff should have asked them to tone it down. The staff was aware of it because 2 staff were watching the table from a distance as if they expected trouble. It was hard to stay and play with how annoying it was.

B.B. King's Blues Club

The band was amazing. They were all individually talented and put on a great show each night we watched them.

Cruise Glacier Bay

Amazing! There are no words to describe what we experienced. We could not believe how close we were to the Johns Hopkins Glacier. The captain came on the loud speaker and said it was the best day they had in the 3 month cruise season. He told the staff that they had his permission to leave their post and go outside to take a picture. We thought that was so wonderful.

Would have been nice to have more time in port. The ship docked at 7AM and left at 12:30Pm. Our excursion started at 7:30AM and we didn't get back until about 11:45AM. We had no time to explore the town.
