We would definitely do it again but it would have to be a longer cruise. We would want to see more ports and stay longer in each port and take more advantage of the resources on the ship.
Embarkation
3 out of 5
Once on the ship, it was "relax time". Up to that point it was very stressful from the time we left our home. We seldom travel by any other means han our own vehicles. We we not used to the "hurry up and wait" that goes with flying; getting to the airport, what you can take, going through TSA at the airport and then the ship's terminal.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The food in the main dining room was excellent! Most of the buffet food was very good and the burgers and fries rom the Dive Inn were always good. We did not eat at any of the other restaurants.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
I can't rate the onboard activities because we didn't use them - no pool, no rock-climbing wall and no fitness centter.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The entertainment was excellent, especially the BB King show. We we back a few times.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The service and staff were excellent. In the dining room they were always there hen you needed anything. The room stewards kept our room in perfect shape.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Everyplace we went on the ship was always clean and well maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Our cabin was always clean and comfortable. We did have to be careful with the door. It would not automatically shut and latch all the way. We had to make sure it closed every time. One morning the toilet would not flush - there was a broken water pipe somewhere on the ship. It was fixed in a reasonable amount of time and our cruise went on.
Ship tip
Be ware of the drink packages. They are not always usable on the whole ship
We went off-roading in jeeps and canoeing and had the second best clam chowder ever. Ketchikan is also a place we would love togo back to and explore and go Halibut fishing.
