Ship was great, can get crowded at times at the elevator, and the last night it was opening seating at dinner. We made reservations every night and it worked well. The food has so many choices you wont have a problem picking a choice if not you can use the café which has so much variety,

Plan your packing. Internet said port weather would be high 70' s for the times we were there. Only wore shorts one day. Also, mornings and nights are cold on ship, even too cold for some activities on top decks. You can easily wear the same clothes every day, nobody cares. Buy a beverage package.

Don't opt for select dining on this particular ship; you end up having to make reservations in advance the night before (there goes spontaneity) and there were always long lines, whether you had a reservation or not! We waited 10-20 minutes in line most nights.

Whether you dine at the buffet or strictly the dining room, you won't be disappointed. We enjoyed both every day.

We were absolutely amazed at the excellent organization within such a large vessel. We have NO complaints at all.Megan, our concierge was just wonderful. Luminaire restaurant staff the BEST! Imade, Ileta, Depo and Jay all so professional and a delight to deal with.

We ordered room service every morning for coffee and a light breakfast. For early risers there is coffee and tea 24/7 in the main dinning area on deck 14. The Aqua café is also a nice place for a smoothie or healthy juices pre/post workouts.

The buffet had a great selection, but if you want to watch what you eat, choose the seated dining option. The portion sizes are very appropriate and you will not overeat. Excellent food choices in the dining room and more high-end food.

We chose 8:30p.m. dining for the Grand Epernay and never waited----just simply walked to our assigned Table 225 on Deck 3. Food was always plentiful, they never ran out during first seating at 5:45p.m. We also chose 8:00p.m. dining in The Tuscan Grille and were not rushed at all. Great food.

They didn't have a separate menu, but diet choices are clearly labeled (Lactose free, Gluten Free, Vegetarian, No Sugar Added, and "Fit Fare"). Make sure you attend the naturalist and historian presentations!

We loved doing room service early morning for coffee, juice and bakery items in our cabin before we had our "real" breakfast. A nice way to start the day.

Be sure to see all that you can on the ship and enjoy the education as well as the entertainment. Also, the Cafe al Bacio and Sushi on Five should not be missed.

Have your bags sent up to your room. Be sure to have a back pack with you with some essentials when you board so you can enjoy the lounge/pool area before checking into your room. Get there early and explore the ship and relax before you go to your room. You were allowed in your rooms around 90 minutes prior to departure.

The beverage promotional package offered (classic) does not cover many choices in cocktails. Celebrity then tries to upgrade you to the premium package at $12/person/day.

Experience as much as you can on this luxury ship. Keep your health up before you travel so your body can fight any illness it comes across. Be not only aware of good hygiene habits, but also practice them ALL the time because you never know when Norovirus will creep up on you.

THE SHIP WAS MID-SIZE WHICH WAS GREAT. I DID NOT GET LOST. IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL, CLEAN SHIP. THE SHOPS WERE EXCELLENT. IT HAD MICHAEL KOC AND OTHER DESIGNER HANDBAG SHOPS. THE ENTERTAINMENT WAS GREAT. I ESPECIALLY ENJOYED JESSIE HAMILTON JR. (SINGER) WHO WAS IN THE "LION KING". HE WAS EXCELLENT AND WAS FROM MY HOME TOWN (PHILADELPHIA PA). I GOT A CHANCE TO SPEAK TO HIM. THE SPECIALITY RESTURANTS ESPECIALLY "MURANO" AND "SILK HARVEST" WERE EXCELLENT. THE SERVICE WAS GREAT AND THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT. THE DINING EXPERIENCE OF THE SOLISTE WAS EXCELLENT. THE SERVICE WAS GREAT IN THE DINING ROOM AND CAFE AND THE FOOD WAS GREAT. THE LIBRARY AND INTERNET ROOMS WERE GREAT FOR RELAXING AND READING. THE POOL AREA AND THE JOGGING DECKS WERE GREAT FOR WALKING AND RELAXING. I WATCHED GREAT MOVIES FOR FREE ON THE TV IN THE CABIN. I WOULD TELL ANYONE TRAVELING ON THIS SHIP THAT IT IS CLASSY AND THE PEOPLE TAKE PRIDE IN THEIR APPEARANCE. IF YOU LIKE CUT-OFF JEANS AND TEE SHIRTS, THIS IS NOT THE SHIP FOR YOU. THE PASSENGERS DRESS EVERY NIGHT FOR DINNER. THE PEOPLE WHO WERE JEANS AND TEE SHIRTS MOSTLY ATE IN THE CAFE BUFFET AND NOT THE MAIN DINING ROOM.

Be prepared to be thoroughly entertained and fed extremely well. If you are a late party person, Solstice may not be for you. Most nights the party spots are empty by 1-2 a.m.

Do not go on the Blue mountain excursion. You are rushed through and don't have time to take pictures and you have zero time in the gift shop. they tell you they will drop you in this little town for shopping during last stop. but there was not even one gift shop there. It was absolutely a horrible experience for everyone.
