overall a good cruise. Celebrity needs to work on people getting off ship for stops. One stop had to wait over an hour to get off ship to visit port. excursion people got off right away. with time to get into city (40 minutes each way) it did not allow us time for the things we wanted to do.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Embarkation was fast and efficient.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
food on the cruise was excellent, they ran out of several types of beer several days before the end of the cruise which was a little inconvenient.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
pools were closed a lot due to rough seas.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
The shows in the evening were ok but repetitive. One comedian was horrible and the cruise director had to apologize to the guests the following day.
Children's Programs
only a few kids on the ship (6-10 in all)
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
only one compliant and that was the excursion director. We did the Blue Mountain excursion and it was horrible. We told the excursion director about it and he sent a bottle of red wine to our room as compensation for a 180 x 4 people. We also asked him to look it finding us a couple excursions that we would like to do on our last to stops. he said he would look and get back to us but never heard from him again.

Cabin / Stateroom

We had a concierge class cabin and it was wonderful.
Ship tip
Do not go on the Blue mountain excursion. You are rushed through and don't have time to take pictures and you have zero time in the gift shop. they tell you they will drop you in this little town for shopping during last stop. but there was not even one gift shop there. It was absolutely a horrible experience for everyone.
We were on this ship for Alaska, not Australia. This may be the reason we didn’t have the problem with getting off (and back on) the ship that you experienced. I agree that it seems that cruise lines almost force us to use their contracted excursions with early off and early on (tendering). We also found the entertainment sub par on our cruise, which was surprising since the educational presentations (naturalist, cultural specialist and Mountie) were exceptional. Thanks for this review!
That is pretty much the same for all the different cruise lines that I have sailed with. They tend to look after those who have spent more money with the ship over others...
