Review summary

First time to Alaska. Highlight were the views especially the views on the Inside passage. Solstice was an excellent ship. Plenty of room and an excellent attentive staff. Eddy (stateroom) and Geovanny (dining room) took excellent care of us. Alaskan cruise is a trip everyone should take at least once.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
very attentive, only negative would be language barriers. some staff did not speak nor understand English very well, made communication difficult at times

5 out of 5
plenty of room and very clean

Cabin / Stateroom

Plenty of space and storage. Balcony views were awesome.

Ship tip

Plan your packing. Internet said port weather would be high 70' s for the times we were there. Only wore shorts one day. Also, mornings and nights are cold on ship, even too cold for some activities on top decks. You can easily wear the same clothes every day, nobody cares. Buy a beverage package.
