Review summary

Alaska is breathtaking, and Celebrity made it perfect!

Not like any cruise I had ever been on, though I have had the pleasure of sailing on the Solstice before. Sitting on my veranda watching the amazing nature of Alaska roll by. Imagine spending a few hours there, sipping our drinks and noshing, and realizing that beyond this ship, there is not ONE man made item. Not a car, a cell tower, a house, a building, a road. Just nature, whales, mountains, waterfalls, glaciers, icebergs, dall porpoises, Eagles, terns, huge sky and at night, we were blessed with a meteor shower amidst the stars. Vast and breathtakingly beautiful,!

Loud at night. Directly below the dining area so as the crews move racks and dining setups it's loud loud loud. The cabin itself was super clean and well appointed, and cabin attendant was great, veranda was wonderful. But don't pick this one unless noise is not an issue for you.

Ship tip

Don't pick this cabin or any directly below main dining room. Noisy

So surprising, what a beautiful town to stroll. We walked into town, about 20 minutes, but the stroll along the river is beautiful and well kept. Gardens and buildings were so pretty. Safe at night.
