Review summary
My husband and I just returned from a fabulous Tracy Arm Fjord cruise (May 26 - June 2) and we did not want it to end! Our stateroom attendant, Malcolm, was fantastic and would ask everyday, "Can I get you anything else?" Our Grand Epernay server, Nelson was great and so friendly. My husband had some of the best salmon for lunch that he has ever had in the main dining room the day of embarkation. The last night of our cruise he had lobster and Beef Wellington (so tender!!!). The ship was spotless and remained so the entire cruise. There were Purell liquid hand sanitation stations all over the cruise and we were urged to use them. The public restrooms were beautiful and they were kept that way all day for the entire cruise. There were even rolled cloth hand towels if you did not want to use paper towels. There were plenty of common areas with comfortable seating throughout the ship. The ENTIRE crew actually SMILED and asked you if you needed anything before you asked them! The ports were okay; I wish they would re-do some so entry at Victoria had more shore time. The best part of ship time? Hands down, it was the magnificent Captain Tasos Kafetzis!!! His hilarious daily messages over the P.A. system were looked forward to by all passengers. We attended his program on the building of the Solstice and though we learned so much, Capt. Tasos had the audience laughing and laughing! If anyone cruises when he is the captain, PLEASE do not miss The Liars Club!!! The entire 1,350 seat Solstice Theater laughed for a solid hour and the captain was the hit of the show!!! Captain Tasos told us he works three months and then is off three months, so check with Celebrity and make sure this wonderful captain will be the master of the ship for your cruise! He told us his brother, Dimitrios Kafetzis is captain of Celebrity Silhoutte! We were told he is even funnier than our Capt. Tasos!!! Celebrity rocks!

Ship tip
We chose 8:30p.m. dining for the Grand Epernay and never waited----just simply walked to our assigned Table 225 on Deck 3. Food was always plentiful, they never ran out during first seating at 5:45p.m. We also chose 8:00p.m. dining in The Tuscan Grille and were not rushed at all. Great food.
