You can get menus from other restaurants in some places. I'm a vegetarian and was able to get the main restaurant menu even in the suite-level restaurant Luminae so I had more choices (even for breakfast). I didn't find this out until near the end of the trip and it would have been nice to know earlier.
Sky Lounge has some amazing views when you are looking to watch the seas and port arrivals and departures. It is in a protected, enclosed location should you be experiencing inclement weather.
The only thing I didn't like about this cruise was how they pushed for upgrading my wife's massage. Also, the same thing about upgrading to a beverage package. I don't drink too much so I purposely didn't choose the beverage package but almost everyone pushed for that whenever I ordered a drink. These two things were the only down about this cruise.
Would opt for one more cabin aft (9297) with larger angled balcony... and more port views on the starboard side (9296). Saw eagles, bears, whales, orcas, all from our balcony. Excellent
Make sure to read the daily itinerary the night before as there are a lot of hidden hints for things to do the next day and is a great way to space out your day. Book early on the excursions as the good ones booked fast.
On the last night, specialty dining was buy one- get one free.
Also, go find the observation lounge - we didn't run across it until the last day and were bummed we didn't spend some time in there!
Also, right outside the spa is a huge two person white hammock with sheets and pillows on it - great place to take a nap.
Have patience with the other guests. Some were a little pushy and almost rude but when you have that many people together you might as well expect that.
If you are looking for the Celebrity experience of days gone by in the area of food quality and selection, pass this ship by unless you are willing to eat in the premium restaurants every day...
Just enjoy yourself! We had a drinks package (a necessity as drinks can be very expensive). We were lucky enough to have our drinks package, internet and tips included in our fare. ππ
